정치적 웃음을 통해 본 15세기 후반~16세기 전반 필기(筆記)의 구도와 양상 = A Study on the disposition and aspects of miscellanies seen through political laughter in the late 15th century~the early 16th century

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In order to understand the disposition of miscellanies from the late 15th century to the early 16th century and changes over time, this study examined the miscellanies of this period through the lens of political laughter. The following results were confirmed by focusing mainly on desire and stubbornness at a individual level, literature and academics at a cultural level, and the family system and perspectives on women at a social level.
First, in the case of the individual level, the group that showed a flexible attitude toward desire valued diversity and inclusion, while the contrasting group emphasized the suppressing desires and the absoluteness of duty and affirmed the observance of principles. Those who judged their era to be the stabilization period prioritized tolerance and public governance, while those who saw it as a time to be the reform period adopted Confucianism to approach the ideal politics. The cause must be found in the fact that the principle of Confucianism and the absoluteness of duty was emphasized. Next, although they showed different perspectives on desire and stubbornness, in most of their miscellanies during this period, an attitude of emphasizing the combination of academics and literature and the national ability of literature could be confirmed. The reason is that the compiler in the late 15th century∼the early 16th century generally did not separate literature from politics and morality. Lastly, from a social perspective, the miscellanies of this period reflected the Confucianization of the Joseon Dynasty. In other words, the early aspects of Confucianization could be seen in miscellanies from the late 15th century, and the transitional aspects could be seen in articles and illustrations from the early 16th century. These changes are related to the gradual rise in power of the group that pursued moral politics while emphasizing Neo-Confucian justification and duty.
In this regard, the meaning of this study can be found in that it presented a useful methodological framework for analyzing a miscellany, hypothesized the disposition of in the late 15th century∼the early 16th century, and inferred the cause and background.
