원불교 종립대학의 교양교육 개선방안 연구 -원광보건대학교를 중심으로- = A Study on ways to improve liberal arts education at Wo n -Buddhism Universities : Focusing on Wonkwang Health University

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 원불교 종립대학에서 건학이념에 바탕한 교양교육의 근본적 역할을 성찰하며, 전 세계 인류가 함께 실천해 나아가야 할 보편윤리 강령인 정산의 삼동윤리 사상을 교양교육의 핵심사상으로 하여 원불교 종립대학의 미래지향적 보편 교양교육으로의 개선 방안 제시를 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적달성을 위하여 첫째, 대학 교양교육 개요 및 특징. 둘째, 선행연구 고찰로 종립대학 교양교육 현황 및 과제. 셋째, 원광보건대학교 중심으로 종립대학의교양교육 개선방안 연구를 수행하였다. 원불교 종립대학은 대학 교양기초교육과정으로 개교정신과 도학교육에 바탕한 ‘종교와원불교’ 교양필수 교과목을운영하고 있다. 향후 이에 대한 개선 방안으로 첫째, 동원도리(同源道理)사상을기반으로 한 융복합 종교이론 체계를 구축하는 종교교육으로 교양교육 개선방안을 제시한다. 둘째, 동기연계(同氣蓮契)사상을 기반으로 한 맞춤형 생활체험훈련 중심의 인성교육프로그램으로 확대하는 교양교육 개선방안을 제시한다. 셋째, 동척사업(同拓事業)사상을 기반으로 한 지역 특성화 K-종교교양교육공조체제를 구축하는 전인교육으로의 교양교육 개선방안을 제시한다.

This study reflects on the fundamental role of liberal education based on the founding philosophy at a Won- Buddhist university, and uses Jeong San's Samdong ethics, a universal code of ethics that all mankind around the world must practice together, as the core idea of liberal education in a Won- Buddhist university. The purpose is to present improvement plans for future-oriented universal liberal arts education. To achieve this goal, first, an overview and characteristics of university liberal arts education. Second, the current status and challenges of liberal arts education at public universities based on previous research. Third, a study was conducted on ways to improve liberal arts education in public universities, focusing on Wonkwang Health University. Won- Buddhism University operates the required liberal arts subject ‘Religion and Wo n Buddhism’ based on the founding spirit and moral education as a university liberal arts basic curriculum.
As a future improvement plan, first, we propose a plan to improve liberal arts education through religious education that builds a convergence religious theory system based on Dongwon Dori ideology. Second, we present a plan to improve liberal arts education by expanding it to a character education program centered on customized life experience training based on the ideology of motivation and connection. Third, we present a plan to improve liberal education toward holistic education by establishing a regional specialized K-religious liberal arts education cooperation system based on the Dongcheok Businessideology.
