      It is very urgent to increase the supplies for the elderly facility because of the rapid population growing of elders in our country. But, if we depend on the only new builing for them, it will take a lot of time and cause to bring economic problem. So, this study proposed the activating plan to increase the supplies of the elderly facility through using the existing unused regional buildings.
      The results of this study were as follows. As a relaxation of relevant laws and regulations to be applied when changing and remodeling, it is proposed to ease local district regulations stipulated in the National Land Planning and Utilization Act, and to derive items that are difficult to apply for structural reasons. In addition, it proposes to find ways to simplify the construction administration procedure when changing the use of elderly care facilities and proposes standards according to the facility renovation and space plan when changing the use of existing buildings.
