Principal component analysis and Multiple regression method ere applied, for the assessment of health related fitness age(more frequently teen the biological age), to the data for 11 physical fitness and anthropometric variables. Subjects were 200 liorean men, aged 20 to 63 years, who were recruited in a series of tests for physical fitness and anthropometric. analyses of the data revealed that, out of the 11 variables examined, fi variables were suitable for the assessment of health related fitness age. The developed equation for the estimation of health related fitness age(HFA) was HFA= chere 11=V02max(ml/kg/min), Y2 = trunk flexion(cm), 3 = Sit-ups(times), 4 = whole body reaction time(sec), 15 = ertical jump(cm). and 1($gt; = one foot balance with eyes closed(sec1. The equation of HFA as considered useful for evaluating ability of health related fitness in adulthood.
