The PEG-based polymer membrane has excellent CO2 solubility and shows high potential for CO2 separation. In this article, P (MMAPEGMA- BC) (MPC) terpolymers with azide groups were synthesized by free radical polymerization using methylmethacrylate (MMA), poly (ethyleneglycol) methylmethacrylate (PEGMA), and vinylbenzyl chloride (VBC). The crosslinked MPA (C_MPA) membrane was prepared by heat treatment of MPA at 185℃ for 6 hours. The synthesis of terpolymers and membranes and their thermal properties were confirmed by 1H-NMR, FT-IR, DSC and TGA analysis. XRD analysis revealed that an amorphous C_MPA membrane without a crystalline pattern was fabricated. The polymer membranes were evaluated through the gas permeability properties (CO2, CO, and N2) at 35℃.
