Changes in environment at universities have led to swtich over from teacher-centered paradigm to learner-centered paradigm with increasing importance of self-directed learning, In this sense, the role of CTL in universities is becoming more and more significant to support teaching and learning, to satisfy' learners, and further to enhance universities' competitive edge. Universities should regard the relationship with students as that between supplier and user, not that of learning. As well, universities should build up user-centered systems, satisfy learners' needs and provide systems and services that will increase immaterial profits. Because there are difficulties in the uniform application of learning activity support due to many different learners' needs and characteristics, it is necessary to offer individualized services.
In this study, a learning support system with application of core CRM strategies in CTL was developed, theoretical ground and design strategies for development were drawn through a literature study, the characteristics and strategies of CRM were analyzed and the core strategies were applied to the learning support system.
The core CRM strategies applied are five - customer segmentation, customer value consideration, customer-centered data integration, cross-sales and individualization. In addition, educational characteristics like characteristics, approach methods and utilization methods were considered to apply CRM in university education.
The core CRM strategies were drawn through literature study, and the measures to apply CRM to university education were arranged.
The research content in this study are as follows:
First, the core CRM strategies were drawn by analyzing the establishment process and operation of CRM system already developed through a literature study and a case study.
Second. learning support services in domestic and overseas CTL were examined and measure to apply CRM to university education were presented.
Third, CTL learning support system to which the core CRM strategies were applied was developed.
In this study, CTL learning support system to which the core CRM strategies were applied was developed and presented. Learning system refers to the learning-related services constructed by collecting, integrating and processing learners' data, analyzing individual needs and characteristics and using the results, It is expected that this study can contribute to the development of a new learning support system according to characteristics and learning support strategies of a university.
