      The control technology of signaling system has been progressed from wayside control based on the existing track circuit to carborne control on which the wireless communication based lately. Since the 2000s, the development of RF-CBTC (Frequency - Comm...

      The control technology of signaling system has been progressed from wayside control based on the existing track circuit to carborne control on which the wireless communication based lately. Since the 2000s, the development of RF-CBTC (Frequency - Communication Based Train Control) signaling system to enable safety control of train has been complete, and commercialized in the world due to the high technology of wireless communication. Therefore, the signaling system based on RF-CBTC has been successfully developed, enabling commercialization by localization. In addition, recently, driverless train control signaling system of MBS (Moving Block System) has also been developed to enhance operation efficiency and headway, and it is waiting for a chance to apply another commercialization line in Korea.
      In this paper, the present condition and the commercialization case of RF-CBTC signaling system development localized in Korea will be described.
