이회영의 중국 망명생활과 독립운동 = Lee, Hui-young’s China Exile Life and Independence Movement

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이회영은 1919년 5월 상해에서 북경으로 돌아온 이래 6년 6개월동안 6번 이상 이사를 다니며 가난한 망명생활을 하였다. 북경에 머무는 동안 그는 극도의 가난을 겪었다. 이 기간 중 이회영은 류자명과 신채호 등과 교류하며 아나키즘 사상을 수용하였고, 다물단과 재중국무정부주의자연맹의 결성을 주도하여 아나키스트 독립운동의 방략을 세우는데 기여하였다. 하지만 아들과 딸이 친일밀정 김달하 처단사건에 연루되면서 가정의 큰 우환을 겪어야 했다.
이회영 일가는 1925년 11월 천진의 프랑스 조계지로 이주하여 1930년 12월까지 생활하였다. 이 와중에도 이회영은 최소 4번이상의 이사를 다니며 가난과 일제 감시 등 각종 곤란을 겪어야 했다. 그런 와중에도 그는 의열투쟁과 국제연대활동, 그리고 만주 독립기지 건설운동 등에 깊이 관여하였다. 이회영은 1926년 초 류자명으로부터 들여온 폭탄과 권총 등을 숨겨주어 나석주 의거가 가능하도록 도왔으며, 이 일로 인해 일본영사관의 추적을 피해 3개월 간 무전여행을 하며 극도로 곤란한 생활에 처하였다. 하지만 그는 국제연대 단체인 동방아나키스트연맹의 활동을 적극 후원하는 한편, 북만주의 신민부를 한족총연합회로 개편하여 독립기지를 건설하는 일에도 깊이 관여하였다.
이회영과 아들 규창은 1930년 12월 천진에서 상해로 이주하였다. 이후 이회영은 비밀결사인 남화한인청년연맹과 항일구국연맹을 통해 의열투쟁과 만주 유격대 건설의 방략을 모색하였다. 항일구국연맹의 의장을 맡았던 이회영은 일제 기관의 파괴와 요인 암살, 항일선전문 배포 등의 활동을 펼쳤다. 1932년 4월 일제의 상해 점령과 윤봉길 의거로 더 이상 활동하기 힘든 상황에 처하자, 그는 동북항일의용군과의 연계를 통해 만주로 진출해 의열투쟁과 유격대 활동을 펼치려 하였다. 하지만 밀정의 신고로 인해 1932년 11월 17일경 대련의 여순감옥에서 고문으로 인해 절명하고 말았다.

Since returning to Beijing from Shanghai in May 1919, Lee, Hui-young moved to the poor for more than six years in six years and six months. During his stay in Beijing, he suffered extreme poverty. During this period, Lee, Hui-young was able to communicate with Rye, Ja-Myung and Shin, Chae-ho, accepting the idea of anarchism, leading the formation of the Alliance and contributing to the strategy of the anarchist independence movement. However, his son and daughter were involved in the prosecution case of the Japanese spy murder, and had to suffer a big family hurricane.
In 1925, Lee, Hui-young moved to Tianjin, France concession, where he lived until December 1930. In the meantime, Lee, Hui-young moved at least four times and had to face various difficulties including poverty and Japanese surveillance. In the meantime, he was deeply involved in the patriotic struggle, international solidarity, and the construction of the Manchurian Independent Base. In 1926, Lee helped the Na suk-ju, which led to extreme hardship in pursuit of the Japanese consulate. However, he actively sponsored the activities of the Orient Anarchist Federation, an international solidarity organization, and deeply involved in building an independent base in North Manchuria.
Lee, Hui-young and his son migrated from Tianjin to Shanghai in December 1930. Lee then sought the struggle for the anti-Japanese struggle and construction of the guerrilla army in Manchuria. Lee played an active role in the destruction of Japanese public institutions, assassination of factors, and distribution of anti-Japanese propaganda. In April 1932, when he was in crisis due to the Occupation of Shanghai in Japanese army, he tried to advance into Manchuria and carry out the struggle for insurrection and guerrilla activities. However, due to whistle-blower, he was arrested on November 17, 1932, and was die for torture.
