삶의 의미 발견 과정이 안녕감에 미치는 영향: 불확실성에 대한 인내력 부족의 차이를 중심으로 = The Influence of the Searching Process for the Meaning in Life on the Well-being: Focused on Difference for the Intolerance of Uncertainty

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was performed to confirm relationship of the meaning in life and the well-being. Especially, it was attempted to grip how the subjective well-being, the psychological well-being, and their sub-factors explained the search for meaning in life and the presence of meaning in life. Also, the difference of the well-being between the group with intolerance of uncertainty and the controlled group were examined. In addition, the search for meaning in life and the presence of meaning in life for having subjective and psychological well-being were performed. For this, participants were 239 undergraduate students in this survey research. Meaning in Life Scale, Intolerance of Uncertainty Scale, and Psychological Well-being Scale, and Satisfaction With Life Scale for measuring the subjective well-being were routinely used. Data analysis in this study was reliability analysis of the each scales, simple correlational analysis between main variables, multiple regression, hierachical multiple regression, and t-test for difference between two groups.
The conclusion and result through this study as follows;
First, it was showed that the meaning in life and psychological wellbeing as well as the subjective well-being were positively related.
Second, the search for meaning in life and the presence of meaning in life had their own features, and process of the presence of meaning in life also made a difference between the subjective well-being and the psychological well-being. Futhermore, there were diverse aspects among sub-factors.
Third, the group with intolerance uncertainty determined the difference of the subjective well-being and the psychological well-being. The the presence of meaning in life between two groups showed that there were different aspects from each other to influence both the search for meaning in life and well-being. As a result of this, future discussion and limitation for college student counseling are suggested.
