텍스트구조표지를 활용한 초등사회교과서 서술 분석 = The analysis of social studies textbook in elementary school using the maker of text structure

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 텍스트구조표지를 이용하여 초등 5학년 2학기 사회교과서 역사영역의 서술에서 응집성과 결속구조 정도를 분석하였다. 텍스트구조표지가 설명텍스트에 사용된다는 점을 감안하여 설명텍스트로 구성된 문화단원을 분석하였다. 분석한 결과, 단원별 저자에 따라 결속구조나 응집성에서 차이가 크게 나타났다. 어떤 단원은 주제에 맞는 서술들로 텍스트구조가 위계화되어 있고 텍스트구조 유형에 맞는 텍스트구조표지가 적절하게 들어가 있었다. 그러나 대부분 단원들은 꼭 필요한 텍스트구조표지가 생략되어 의미관계가 달라졌다. 이로 인해 저자의 의도가 제대로 전달되지 못하였다. 심지어 텍스트구조표지의 생략으로 인해 역사적 오류로 보이는 서술도 보였다. 한편, 문화단원에서 여러 문화재들을 소개하고 우수성만 강조 하다보니 나열관계가 많이 보였다. 역사에서는 ‘왜’와 ‘어떻게’가 중요하다는 점을 감안하여 인과관계표지를 비롯해 다양한 표지들을 사용할 수 있는 서술도 고려할 필요가 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper was to analyze the description of social studies textbook in elementary school using maker of text structure. The maker of text structure is kind of cohesive makers. It shows how the semantic relations of text structures are closely united. The results of this paper was as follows. While Some author had no cohesion and coherence in writing, some author had completely. Though every author had own style of writing, the textbook authors kept the cohesion and coherence in writing at the very least. Also, textbook authors tended to omit the cohesive makers which make readers understand easily in description. It prevented young readers from understanding of the text. The last, the description of textbook was excessively used arrangement relations in text structure. It needed to use diverse types of text structure. Especially it was often necessary to use the causation maker of text structure in history textbook because the causation in history was important.
