아동 디자인교육의 콘텐츠 개발 프로세스

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국사회는 매일 빠른 속도로 발전하는 IT기술과 인터넷 기능의 발달에 사회적 혼동을 격고 있다. 그리고 정보의 습득과 전달에선 지역 간, 나라 간의 경계도 모호해져 가고 있다. 모든 정보의 접근성이 용이함에 따라 개인이 직면하게 되는 사회 현상과 여러 문제들을 해결하기 위해서는 통합적 사고와 객관적 판단 능력이 요구되고 있다. 디자인교육은 단순히 미래의 글로벌 디자이너를 발굴할 뿐만 아니라 디자인적 사고를 지닌 소비자를 만들어 줄 수도 있을 것이다. 이미 선진국에서는 디자인교육이 국가교육과정으로 제정되어 ‘디자인을 기초로 한 교육(Design Based Education)시행중이다. 이 같은 교육 패 러다임에 따라 체계적인 교육적 효과를 기대하기 위한 아동 디자인교육 콘텐츠 개발 프로세스가 필요하다. 현재의 우리나 라 아동 디자인교육은 교육부에서도 정규 교과과정으로 지정되어져 있지도 않고, 명확한 명분과 구체적인 커리큘럼 자체도 갖추고 있지 않다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라 초등학생대상 디자인 콘텐츠 사례 현황을 살펴보았으며, 이를 바탕으로 디자인 교육 콘텐츠의 프로세스를 파악․제안하고자 하였다. 미래의 창의․융합 인재 양성 교육에 알맞는 디자인, 즉, 삶의 질이 풍부 한 생활 속의 디자인으로 발전하는 미래형 교육에 바탕이 될 것을 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean society is experiencing social confusion due to the rapidly developing IT technology and internet functions. Moreover, the boundary between regions and between countries is becoming blurred in acquisition and transmission of information. Since it is easy to have access to all information, integrated thinking and objective judgment are needed to solve social phenomena and various problems that individuals face. Design education will be able to discover future global designers and create consumers with design thinking. In advanced countries, design education has already been included in the national curriculum and 'Design-based Education' is being implemented. According to this educational paradigm, there is a need to develop a childhood design education contents development process for obtaining more systematic educational effects. Currently, Korean design education for children isn't designated as a regular curriculum by the Ministry of Education and there is an absence of definite classification and specific curriculum. Korea saw at the elementary school subject content design into practice, Based on this understanding the process of design educational content, was proposed. It is anticipated that this study will serve as the foundation for future-oriented education of design as liberal arts suitable for creative and convergence talent cultivation, that is to say design for improving the quality of life.
