베트남의 경제성장에 따른 스마트시티 개발 방안 연구 = A Study on the Smart City Development Plan accrding to Vietnam Economic Growth

1. CONTENTS (1) RESEARCH OBJECTIVES The purpose is to analyze how Vietnam's rapid economic growth affects the development of smart cities, and to derive problems related to it through various analysis based on various data to derive success strategies and measures for the future development of smart cities in Vietnam.
(2) RESEARCH METHOD This study approached from a macro perspective and analyzed the overall status of Vietnam's economy and smart city, and through this analysis, the problems of Vietnam's smart city, future success strategies, and implementation plans were derived. In particular, we analyzed the current status of investment in the development of smart cities due to Vietnam's rapid economic growth, and analyzed the future development of smart cities in Vietnam through theoretical exploration and review based on various data.
(3) RESEARCH FINDINGS Vietnam has established friendly trade relations with the Republic of Korea, maintained steady economic growth, and strategically promoted smart city development centered on urban infrastructure, transportation, environmental issues, and climate change.
2. RESULTS In the current era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, Vietnam is a country with a very high possibility of developing the real estate market due to rapid urbanization and the resulting increase in income in the golden population. In particular, Vietnam made efforts to secure access to the external market among ASEAN countries by establishing a systematic FTA network with major countries and actively participating in multilateral agreements. In addition, the government promulgated the Decision 667/QD-TTg, which is one of the nine solutions to improve the efficiency of foreign investment cooperation, to continue to provide benefits and incentives for overseas investment, such as improving domestic technology by attracting foreign investment.
Through this, it can be interpreted that Vietnam maintains steady economic growth by establishing friendly trade relations with the Republic of Korea and promoting an active foreign opening policy. A serious problem arises. In order to solve these problems, in 2018, the Vietnamese government announced the ‘Smart City Development Strategy’ from the Prime Minister’s Ordinance, setting the basic development direction of the national smart city. This is the principle of promoting a demand-responsive smart city on the premise of standardization and systematization of smart city development, and it is the most suitable field for future cooperation between Korea and Vietnam as it includes various industries in smart city development investment. It is analyzed that this is a trend in which many efforts are being made between the two countries to match the government's smart city construction roadmap, which aims to promote the development of advanced technologies for efficient promotion of sustainable smart city development.
