Recent three decades have witnessed that Korea has experienced the vast amount of change, which has been piled and condensed for centuries, On the turning point of advanced and underdeveloped countries, Korea is now faced with desperate hold-back of advanced countries. Without breaking through this hindrance Korea cannot safely enter the ranks of advanced countries. To meet these environmental changes, QM(Quality Management) is essential, which might be primary base of accelerating technical renovation and maximizing the efficiency of existing technology. The improvement, both in quantity and in quality, of education in technical high schools is urgently called for to settle down QM as a new industrial movement. This study has examined urgent problems of our industry and pending guestions related to QM education, and then proposes as follows: i) QM activity, which is projected as a new industrial movement, should be elevated, through constructing teamwork among industrial leasers, mid-managers and workers, to the level of technical renovation. Education in technical high schools should keep pace with these changes and try to cope with the requirements of the times. ii) We should emphsize that, even though QM mind can be cultivated through various ways such as fielwork and experience, the basic source of forming personal character is through education. iii) QM training should be carried out as a required course in technical high schools.
