Given the graveness of the fog and haze, the continual spike on PM2.5 (China’s average heavily polluted days increased to nearly 29.9 per year in recent years), the author intends to analyze the environmental hotspots (the fog and haze problems etc.) in China, and how government’s policies and enterprises’s management affect the hotspots, thereby to promote developing countries to adjust their environmental policies accordingly in future.
The first part narrates the research context and method. The second part focuses on impressive pollution incidents in the USA, the UK, the ROK, and the PRC, and emphasizing China’s pollutants and its harm. The third part, as the main body of the paper, analyzes the statistics on the atmospheric pollutants including the emission of sulfur dioxide and dust(烟尘、粉尘), per capita GDP, the proportion of the second industry of China’s provinces in the past more than 20 years according to the yearbooks of China’s National Bureau of Statistics. The analysis indicates that the proportion of the second industry, per capita GDP, and the the emission are in direction proportion, and the data of each province’s statistics are characteristic. The analysis also tells us that the northwest of China with the low-proportion of the second industry, small population, and low-per capita GDP has low emission of various pollutants. The forth part focuses on governments’ policies. It explains the newest measures of China’s governments through comparing the policies of China and that of Korea. The fifth part analyze the enterprises’ environmental management in principal cities like Beijing(Peking), Shanghai, Qingdao(Tsingtao), Xi’an, Wenzhou, intending to uncover representative enterprises’ environmental measures in China. This part also introduces the strategies to reduce air pollution, the introduction of Clean Technology, and the Green Marketing etc. )The sixth part is the summary of the whole paper, while pointing out
It’s hoped that the paper would promote more people to pay attention to and care the relation between the development of enterprises and environmental protection, and finally could achieve balance between them.
