The advancement in low-power and high-speed signal processing systems has made the design of analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) a significant research topic. In this paper, we propose the use of a type of digital filter, the Cascaded Integrator-Comb (CIC) filter, as an additional filtering stage to address bandwidth, noise, and distortion in the existing Oversampling ADC architecture. We present the structure of the CIC filter that effectively produces outputs in high sampling rate ADCs.
