전라북도 도립공원 이용행태 및 이용적합성 분석 = Analysis of Use Behavior and Suitability in Provincial Parks at Jeonlabukdo

The purpose of this research is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' behavior and suitability in all provincial parks of Jeonbuk. On the basis of resource-based approach, we had constructed a conceptual framework for this research and found one variable of the overall recreation suitability and eight independent variables, representing characteristics of recreation resources. After questionnaire surveying 442 visitors in 4 provincial parks, we have analyzed the data using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression method.
We have found that 1) the main purpose of visit is climbing in all park except viewing landscape of Maisan provincial park, and the using frequency of Moaksan is higher than that of other parks. 2) minimal development is the main answer of environment friendly management and that shows the civil sense to the reckless development, and 3) landscape turned out to have about 3 times greater than that of wild plants, judging from the absolute value of standardized regression coefficient.
The reaserch findings can be used for planning and designing of provincial parks on recreation suitability of forest resources, and will provide pertinent guidelines for management of same area.
