Perspectives of Co-operation in Social Development and Technology Advancement between Korea and Bangladesh = 한국과 방글라데시의 사회개발 및 기술발전 협력 분석

국문 초록 (Abstract)

경제발전과 사회개발의 장기적 전망이 균형적 지역개발, 기술의 발전, 고도로 훈련된 인력과 사회간접자본의 개발, 사회기반체계의 향상을 가져오는 기술 분야의 혁신에 의존한다는 것이 한국경제의 발전에서 보여주고 있다. 이러한 모든 요소에 공통되는 점은 기술, 기능, 전문성, 그리고 조직의 시스템으로 대변되는 기술이라고 할 것인데, 이 기술이야말로 사회적 수요를 충족시키는 재화와 서비스를 생산하고 활용하는 것이다. 특별히 에너지 기술은 가구의 소득, 건강, 교육, 남녀의 성비와 환경의 발전에 영향을 끼침으로서 도시빈곤율 저감에 관련성이 크다고 하겠다. 한국과 방글라데시 양 국가의 사회개발을 위한 기술적 측면에서의 경제협력에 있어서 주안점을 두어야 할 부분은 a. 사회개발의 관점, b. 도시의 성장과 사회개발, c. 에너지 발전 분야 협력을 통한 한국의 방글라데시 개발 참여, d. 방글라데시와의 사회개발 및 기술협력에서의 제약사항 등에 관한 것들이다. 본 논문은 이런 점에 초점을 맞추어 양 국가에 상호 호혜적 발전을 가져오는 사회개발 및 기술적 협력 방안을 분석하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean economy exhibits that the long term prospects of economic and social development depends on innovations in technical fields, redressing urban problems focusing on regional development, advancement of science, development of highly trained manpower and infrastructure, and raising of social overheads. But common to all these elements is technology, the term being referred to as a system of knowledge, skills, expertise, and organization used to produce and utilize goods and services that satisfy social demand. Specially, energy technology has strong linkages with urban poverty reduction through household income, health, education, gender and environment development. The analyses of technology-focused economic co-operations for social development between Korea and Bangladesh adopt the following points a. social development perspectives, b. urban advancement and social development, c. Korea’s development co-operation with Bangladesh especially in energy generation, d. constraints to social development and technology co-operation with Bangladesh. By focusing these points this paper analyzes the ways of co-operation for social development and technology, which bring about reciprocal progress for the two.
