점토공예를 적용한 작업치료가 만성 조현병 환자의 음성증상에 미치는 영향 = Influence of Occupational Therapy with Clay Craft Applied to Chronic Schizophrenic Patients’ Negative signs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

목적: 본 연구는 입원치료중인 조현병 환자에게 점토공예를 적용한 작업치료를 실시하였을 때 조현병의 음성증상 및 우울증에 미치는 영향에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다.
연구방법: 본 연구의 대상자는 충남 공주 시에 위치한 정신병원에 입원중인 조현병 환자 중 발병한 지 2년 이상 된 만성 환자로 음성증상과 우울양상을 보이는 10명을 선정하였다. 실험기간은 2012년 5월 4일에서 6월 22일까지 주 2회, 총 16회기로 이루어졌으며, 점토 공예를 적용한 작업치료가 만성 조현병 환자의 음성증상에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위하여 SANS와 K-BDI를 통하여 사전-사후 검사를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 자료 분석은 SPSS/PC +17.0 프로그램을 이용하였으며, 점토공예를 적용한 작업치료가 조현병의 음성증상과 우울에 대해 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 Wilcoxon’s signed rank test를 사용하였다.
결과: 점토공예를 적용한 작업치료 실시 전후에서 음성증상과 우울의 차이를 비교한 결과, 사후검사에서 음성증상척도 SANS와 우울척도 BDI의 점수 하락이 보였고 통계적으로도 음성증상과 우울증의 감소가 유의하게 나타났다(p<0.005). SANS의 사전검사와 사후검사에서 평균 점수의 차이는 12.0점이었고, BDI의 사전검사와 사후검사에서 6.9점의 평균점수의 차이를 보였다.
결론: 점토공예를 적용한 작업치료가조현병 환자 간의 사회적 상호작용과 결과물을 통한 성취감을 고취시킴으로써 음성증상과 우울증의 완화에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

Objective: This study is to look into the influence of occupational therapy with clay craft applied to chronic schizophrenic inpatients’ negative signs and depressionMethods: The subjects of this study were 10 inpatients with schizophrenic at psychiatric hospital in Kong-ju, Chung-Nam. The subjects have been admitted over 2 years at psychiatric hospital. This study was conducted in May 4, 2012 through June 22, 2012 in every 2 times a week, for 16 times. This study was carried out pre-post test by the SANS and K-BDI. Data were analyzed by the SPSS/PC +17.0 program and conducted by the Wilcoxon’s signed rank test.
Results: The subjects were applied the occupational therapy with clay craft compared with pre-post test to difference of negative signs and depression. The score was decreased both negative signs scale (SANS) and depression scale (BDI) in post test. There were statistically significant decrease on negative sings and depression (p<0.005). The SANS difference of mean value was 12.0 and the BDI difference of mean value was 6.9 on pre post test.
Conclusions: The result of this study showed that occupational therapy with clay craft could be positive influence to alleviation of chronic schizophrenic inpatients negative sings and depression by to improve social interaction and product among the inpatients.
