      This paper presents a bibliotherapy plan based on the unconscious exploration process of <Guunmong>. <Guunmong> begins with the image of Seongjin, who eliminates his desires as an ascetic, expands to the image of Yangsoyu, who enjoys fame and riches, and ends with Seongjin’s story again. Although Seongjin and Yangsoyu have different orientations, their contradictions are inherent in one personality. There must be a way to understand the life of Yangsoyu through Seongjin’s world, and to understand Seongjin’s life through the life of Yangsoyu. To understand the harmony and balance of Yangsoyu against the background of conflicts between worlds, to permeate the world of Seongjin and Yangsoyu, and to understand the gaze of the external world and the ego's gaze toward the inside a psychological framework is necessary. From the perspective of Jung’s analytical psychology, it is assumed that the two worlds of Seongjin and Yangsoyu converge at the peak of their power. The process by which Seongjin began to explore his own unconscious through the shepherd and attained enlightenment through the teachings of Yukgwandaesa can be understood as a process of ego readjustment leading to self-actualization. Participants create their own stories that are different from the original story by floating unconscious images in their sleep, and enter into a process of individuation, similar to literary therapy. This helps in the process of self-analysis by reading classical literature. Through the work’s narrative, readers indirectly experience the process through which the ego recognizes its shadow and progresses to individuation. By applying this to one’s own epic, one can begin discovering and integrating one’s shadows.
