The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the turnover intention of social workers in Jeju Special Self-Governing Province based on the demographic characteristics, organizational culture, job satisfaction and job consciousness, thereby identifying the relationship between them through empirical analysis. In this study, 470 units were distributed and collected for workers working in 31 facilities in the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, centered on social facilities for physically-handicapped people, utilization facilities, vocational rehabilitation facilities and welfare centers. Of the 395 copies, 336 copies except 59 copies were used for final analysis. Empirical analysis of this study was conducted at significance level p <.05. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSSWIN 22.0 program. For the specific empirical analysis method, frequency analysis was conducted to investigate general characteristics, and the reliability of the items was measured to examine the predictability and accuracy. In addition, T-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted to examine the mean difference according to general characteristics. To examine the relationship between related variables, correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted respectively. The analysis results are as follows. According to the analysis of the difference of turnover intention according to the demographic characteristics, it was found that the turnover intention was high in case of low education level, high age, required working time, and the the positive perception on organizational culture, job consciousness is high, the turnover intention was low. However, it is not enough to explain the factors affecting the turnover intention of social workers. Therefore, further research is needed to study the various items of social welfare facility types and specific factors. If an alternative to reduce the turnover intention of the social welfare facility according to the analysis result is suggested, it is as follows: First, the superintendent of the organization needs to find ways to strengthen the organizational atmosphere and environment through rational leadership and to establish an effective communication system among the members of the organization. Second, it is necessary to grasp each characteristics of workers closely and share the appropriate tasks. Also, it is required to have realistic alternatives that can reduce the exhaustion or stress that may occur in repetitive work performance. Third, it is imperative to find ways to increase the job satisfaction of workers, which is the most influential factor on the turnover intention of the employees. Fourth, it is necessary to seek ways to improve the treatment of employees by actively coping with grievance of workers. Fifth, social welfare workers, active feedback of objectification and can discuss this place would have bloated. Sixth, the Government is responsible for ensuring the expertise of social workers, treatment and maintenance it is necessary to give the support for education.
