코로나19 감염병동에 근무하는 간호사의 병동생활경험-미술에 기반한 내러티브 탐구 = An Art Based Narrative Inquiry on the Experience of Nurses Working in a COVID-19 Ward

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 코로나19 감염병동 간호사의 병동생활 경험에 대한 풍부한 이해와 의미를 찾기 위해 미술에 기반한 내러티브 탐구를 수행하였다. 연구참여자는 대구시 코로나19 감염병동에 근무하는 30대 여성 간호사 2명이다. 현장텍스트는 2021년 4월부터 2021년 6월까지 8회기에 걸친 인터뷰와 미술 작업을 통해 참여자의 녹취 자료, 미술작품 등을 수집하였다. 자료의 분석은 내러티브 탐구 절차에 따라 수행되었으며 3차원적 내러티브 탐구 공간을 고려하며 작성하였다. 병동생활 경험에 관한 이야기는 <간호사로 살아가다>, <코로나19의 최전방에서>, <일상의 회복을 꿈꾸며>로 나누어 기술하였다. 이를 통해 이해한 삶의 의미는 <한 치 앞도 내다볼 수 없는 곳에서의 고된 삶>, <삶과 죽음의 기로에서 인간의 존엄성을 되새김>, <간호사로서 자부심을 느낌>, <미술 작업은 자기돌봄의 기회가 됨>이다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 개인적 정당성, 실제적 정당성, 사회적 정당성의 맥락에서 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study conducted an art based narrative inquiry to gain a rich understanding of nurses' experience of working in an infectious disease ward for COVID-19 patients and explore the meaning of their experiences.
The participants were two female nurses in their 30s working in a COVID-19 ward of a hospital in Daegu Metropolitan City. The field texts were collected from interview with the participants and a total of 8 art therapy sessions from April to June, 2021. The collected data included the interview recordings and art therapy sessions and participants' artworks created during the therapy. The research data was analyzed according to the procedure of narrative inquiry. considering that the framework of the three-dimensional narrative inquiry space composed. The storie themes of the ward experience were constructed as follows: ‘Living as a nurse', ‘At the frontline of the war against COVID-19', and ‘Dreaming of a return to normal daily life'. The meanings the analysis were described as follows: ‘A hard life in a place where they cannot even guess what will happen in the next moment', ‘Remembering human dignity at the crossroads of life and death', ‘Feeling proud as a nurse,' and ‘Art-making has become an opportunity for self-care.' Based on these results, the meanings of the experience of art therapy were discussed in the contexts of personal, practical, and social justifications.
