더우반 데이터를 기반으로 한 한국 드라마 연구 : 인기, 평판, 장르를 중심으로 = A Study of Korean TV Dramas Based on Douban Data : Centered on Popularity, Reputation and Type

국문 초록 (Abstract)

한국 드라마가 중국에서 방영되기 시작한 이후 약 30년 동안, <대장금>, <별에서 온 그대>, <태양의 후예> 등의 작품들이 붐을 일으켜 많은 중국 팬들을 사로잡았다. 사드 배치의 여파로 중국 TV 방송국과 주요 영상 플랫폼은 2017년부터 2021년까지 한국 드라마 방송을 중단했지만, 한국 드라마에 대한 관심은 여전히 뜨겁다.
본 연구는 더우반 데이터를 활용하여 한국 드라마의 인기, 평판, 장르를 중심으로 중국 내 한국 드라마의 확산 상황을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 작성되었다. 본 논문은 데이터를 기반으로 한 한국 드라마 기초 연구이며, 현 단계에서 평점 8점 이상의 높은 평가를 받은 작품에 초점을 맞춰 분석한 것이다.
분석 결과를 시각화하여 중국 시청자의 선호도를 보다 직관적으로 파악할 수 있었다. 인기와 평판 사이에는 상관관계가 없으며 한류 스타가 인기에 미친 영향력은 상당하지만, 평점에 대한 영향력은 평범했다. 로맨스 드라마, 범죄 드라마, 휴먼 드라마의 3강 구도가 형성되었다. 또한, 현실 정치가 중국 시청자의 한국 드라마 선호도에 별다른 영향을 미치지는 않았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Korean TV dramas have been broadcast in China for nearly thirty years. Dramas such as ‘Dae Jang Geum’, ‘My Love From the Stars’ and ‘Descendants of the Sun’ went viral all over the country, and these Korean dramas attracted a group of fans. After the Sade incident, television stations and headline video platforms interrupted the broadcast of Korean dramas during 2017-2021. Even though, the attention and conversation of Korean dramas continue to be very high.
This study attempted to analyze the spread of Korean dramas in China based on the data from Douban. The focus concentrates on the popularity, reputation and types of Korean dramas. As a basic research of Korean dramas, this study set the scope of data analysis to dramas with a Douban rating of 8 and above and then investigated 197 Korean dramas from the list.
Chinese audience’s preferences were gained a more intuitive understanding according to the visualization charts. The results indicated that the popularity and reputation didn’t correlate, it was the Korean Stars Who exerted more significant influence on the popularity of Korean dramas even though they didn’t have a significant effect on scoring. The results also identified that romance dramas, crime dramas and human dramas were evenly matched adversaries . Moreover, practical politics did not have a significant impact on the Chinese audience’s preferences for Korean dramas.
