컴퓨터학원교육의 실태 및 발전방안 = Actual Condition and Development Plan of the Education at Computer Institute

국문 초록 (Abstract)

학원이 사회 교육기관으로서의 제 기능과 역할을 충실히 수행하기 위해서는 빠른 변화에 대응할 수 있는 교육이 되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구는 컴퓨터 학원교육의 발전을 위하여 컴퓨터 학원의 위기 원인이 될 수 있는 상황을 분석하고 그에 대한 대응책을 알아보고자 하였다.
첫째, 학원시설에 관한설문에서는 민간업체학교의 컴퓨터 사양과 시설투자에 비하면 컴퓨터학원의 시설은 멀티미디어 시설의 빔프로젝터가 학교민간참여컴퓨터교실은 100% 기본 사양인데 반하여 컴퓨터학원은 34%로 나타나고 있어 컴퓨터 학원이 학교의 시설과는 비교할 수 없을 정도로 낙후되어 있어 컴퓨터학원의 시설투자와 환경개선이 필요하다.
둘째, 컴퓨터 학원 교육의 교과 과정에 관한 설문 결과는 컴퓨터학원교육의 교과 과정이 특성화 되어있지 않고 OA에 편중되어 있으며, 유아나 초등학교 저학년을 대상으로 하는 커리큘럼이나 교재가 부족하여 그 수요를 학원에서 받지 못하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 이는 학교 민간참여업체 컴퓨터교육과 전혀 차별화 되지 못하고 있다. 그러나 최근에는 프로그램 언어가 강조되고 있으며 로봇강의를 하는 학원도 조금씩 늘어나고 있어 앞으로 좀더 다양한 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다.
셋째, 온라인 강의에 관한 설문에 대한 결과는 온라인 강좌를 개설하고 있는 비율이 겨우 6%이고 온라인 강좌의 필요성의 비율도 52%가 필요성을 느끼지 못하고 있다는 결과는 최근 e러닝 산업규모가 2006년 e러닝 산업 실태조사에 따르면 2006년 1조 6천 177억원으로 2005년 대비 10%의 증가로 학원을 중심으로 온라인 강좌가 급증하고 있고 공교육에서도 2013년부터 각 학교에서 종이 교과서를 대체할 디지털 교과서는 무선 인터넷, 전자칠판등과 함께 유비쿼터스 교실을 만들 수 있도록 준비하고 있고 e러닝을 통한 자기주도 학습이 새로운 학습, 새로운 비즈니스로 나타나고 있는 상황에 컴퓨터학원들의 온라인 강의에 대한 의식 전환이 필요한 것으로 나타나고 있다.
넷째, 상용프로그램구입에 관한 설문조사는 하드웨어의 발달로 하드웨어를 구입하는 비용은 부담이 적어진 반면 상용프로그램에 관한 구입비용은 계속 늘어나고 있다. 프로그램을 100% 구입하기가 어려워 해마다 프로그램 단속과 학원과의 대비가 계속되고 있다. 이에 대한 정부의 금융·세제지원 대책이 필요한 것으로 나타나고 있다.
다섯째, 컴퓨터 학원의 침체원인 중 가장 큰 요인은 사교육비 절감을 위한 학교 컴퓨터 교육으로 나타나고 있다. 학원이 학교 컴퓨터 교육과 경쟁력을 가지기 위해서는 학교 교육에서는 할 수 없는 개별 맞춤형 교육을 실시하여 학교와 차별화 할 수 있어야 한다.

This investigation has research on the actual condition of computer academies and tried to investigate on what causes the stagnation to overcome this difficult situation.
