여성신학 교육과정우머니스트 －우머니스트(Womanist) 접근

The purpose of this study is to suggest a women’s theological curriculum in the Master of Divinity(M.Div.) program, which has an increasing number of female students in these days. Until now, most of a theological studies does not related to a theological curriculum, but rather related with a general theological education. In seminary, theological education for women occurs without a specific theological curriculum. From the second half of the twenty century, feminist theology was introduced to the Korea’s theological field. Feminism contributed to improving the equality of women in the theological education and in our society. But now we have a new era of multi-culturalism society and globalization and so a new paradigm is needed for women’s theological education. Seminaries in Korea need to study a womanist approach for the theory of theological curriculum. The womanist has four definitions which are responsibility, wholeness, the Spirit, and Purple. The theoretical foundations of the women’s theological curriculum in this article include the Dance of the Trinity, a psychological foundation of multi-faceted Self, a sociological foundation as marginal women, and a reconceptualization. And this article suggests an image of a ‘Dancing God’ for the women’s theological curriculum. Dance steps include aims and objectives, selection and organization of contents, the teaching-learning process and method, adminstration and evaluation. The goal is to teach and learn the Triune God of perichoresis through the metaphor of dancing. This includes dynamic interaction with a teacher, a student, a text, and a context. The contents of the women’s theological curriculum are a self-understanding of woman, an understanding of women in a multi-cultural society, and an ecological community ministry by women. And organization of contents is an integration type which is called a spider type also. The teaching-learning process and method from the womanist perspective is an emancipatory praxis which has seven stages. These are: depictions of motherhood in language, identifying a position of self, a participation in systematic thought and analysis, forming a community of safety and inclusiveness, forming a partnership for resistance to injustice, stirring up the imagination, and teaching through embodiment. Adminstration includes a leadership of partnership for team ministry with other minister and a lay believers.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

신학대학원에 여학생들이 증가함에 따라 이들을 위한 신학 교육과정의 연구가 필요하다. 여성신학교육은 일반적인 차원에서 연구되어 왔으나 교육과정과의 관련에서는 그 연구가 최근에 활발하지 못하였다. 20세기 후반기부터 페미니즘이 학계에 소개됨으로 신학교에서도 페미니즘에 의한 여성신학교육이 이루어져 왔지만 과목중심으로의 교육이 주된 것이고 교육과정으로까지 나가지 못하였다. 또한 페미니즘은 여성에 대한 평등의식을 심어준 공헌이 있지만 다문화사회와 세계화 시대 속에 살아가는 한국에서의 신학교육과정으로의 이론적 기초가 되기에는 한계를 노출하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 우머니스트에 의한 신학 교육과정을 논의하고자 한다. 우머니스트는 흑인 여성학자들에 의하여 언급되기 시작하였고, 오늘날 흑인뿐만 아니라 유색인종의 여성들에 대한 연구의 이론적기초로 자리매김을 하고 있다. 우머니스트는 책임감 있고, 통전적이며, 영을 사랑하고, 그리고 유색여성에 대한 관심을 갖고 있음을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의한 여성신학 교육과정의 이론적 기초로써 춤추시는 삼위일체하나님, 다면적 자기이해, 주변인으로서의 여성, 재개념화 등을 언급하고자 한다. 여성신학 교육과정의 목적은 삼위일체하나님이 속성인 ‘춤추시는 하나님’의 이미지를 제시하고자하며, 목표로는 ‘성령의 춤을 추는 자’의 이미지를 제시하고자 한다. 이는 교사, 학습자, 텍스트, 그리고 교육현장의 역동적인 상호작용에 의한 신학 교육과정으로 구체화된다. 내용의 선정과 조직에서는 여성의 자기이해, 다문화사회에서의 여성과 삶, 생태공동체와 여성목회 등이며, 통합적 조직을 특징으로 한다.
교수－학습과정에서는 해방적 프락시스에 의한 모성적 언어용법, 자신의 위치, 조직적 사고와 분석, 포용적 공동체 형성하기, 부정의에 대한 저항의 공동체, 상상력을 불러일으키기, 체현을 통한 학습 등이다. 이를 위해 팀 목회와 파트너십으로서의 리더십에 대한 교육내용이 요구된다. 신학교육과정의 요소들을 스텝들로 표현한 것은 교육과정 요소들을 단계적이거나 분리적이 아닌 상호작용적인 관계로 의미하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 글에서의 여성신학 교육과정은 역사에 대한 이해에서부터 행정에 이르기 까지 전영역이다.
