집단미술치료가 치매환자 주부양자의 부양부담에 미치는 효과 = The Study of the Effect of Group Art Therapy Reducing the Primary Caregivers ’ Care Burden

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 치매환자를 부양하고 있는 주부양자에게 부양에 따른 부담감을 줄이는데 목적을 두고 집단미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 미술 매체를 통해 주부양자들의 공통된 문제점을 끌어내고 자신만이 가지고 있는 문제점이 아니라는 것을 인식시키고 치매환자로 인해 나타나는 심리적인 어려움을 작업을 통해 표출하여 심리적인 안정감을 가짐으로 치매환자를 수용하는데 도움이 되고자 하였다. 연구의 대상은 C시에 사는 치매환자 주부양자 5명을 대상으로 하여 총14회 집단미술치료를 실시하였다 이 연구에서 사용한 부양부담 척도는 Zarit의 척도로 사전 • 사후검사를 t검증하여 분석하였고 KFD검사를 사전 • 사후 분석하였으며 집단미술치료 진행과정을 기술하고 분석하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 치매환자 주부양자의 부양부담 척도에서 사전검사 점수보다 사후검사 점수가 낮아지고 KFD검사에서도 사전과 다르게 치매환자를 자신의 옆에 그리거나 가족과 함께하는 그림으로 냐타났다. 미술치료 진행과정상에서도 작업의 내용으로 효과가 있었다고 할 수 있다. 이 연구의 제한점으로는 연구대상이 부양자라는 의미만을 고려했는데 부양부담 요인에 따른 세부적인 집단 구성이 필요하고 연구 설계에서 동질의 실험집단 및 통제집단 설계로 프로그램의 질을 높이는 것이 필요하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study practiced the program of the group art therapy in order to reduce the burden of the primary caregivers taking care of dementia patients. It intended to help the caregivers looking after dementia patients, by revealing the caregivers\' common problems and making the caregivers realize the sense of universality of their suffering, and giving psychological sense of stability and safety through expressing psychological distress in group art therapy. The subjects of this study are 8 citizens in C city looking after their dementia patients and we treated group art therapy 14 times. We used Zarit scale of the care burden of dementia patients, interpreted it by KFD test, and analyzed the process of the group art therapy. The results of this study are as follows: The score of posttest was lower than that of pretest in the scale of the care burden of the primary caregivers of dementia patients. And at post KFD test, dementia patients were located near caregivers or with family in their drawings, and it was different from the drawings at pre-KFD test. It can be said that the contents of the therapy were effective in the process of group art therapy. The limit of this study is that the subjects were simple caregivers, and their subgroups of care burden factors were not considered. In the future, various groups of care burden factors and other attributes will be made and studied. The homogeneity of experimental group and control group should be included and testified, and finally various endeavors to enhance the quality of group art therapy should be developed Key Words Group Art Therapy, Dementia, Primary Caregiver, Care Burden
