Placet(1983)에 의하면 체육교사들이 인식하는 수업에서의 성공, 즉 좋은 수업의 개념은 수업활동에서 학생들이 잘 참여하고(busy), 수업상황에서 학생들이 즐거워하며(happy), 수업상황에서 학생들이 교사의 지시를 잘 따르는(good)수업으로 정의를 내리고 있다. 또 다른 측면에서 송상현(2000)은 좋은 수업은 교사가 수업을 통하여 기대했던 학습목표가 충분히 달성되어 학습자들이 지적, 정의적인 충족감을 느끼면서 다음 수업시간이 기다려지는 수업으로 정의하였다. 이처럼 수업은 효율성 연구에서 강조하는 학생의 학업성취뿐만 아니라 학생의 흥미, 관심, 참여와 같은 학생 행동의 측면까지 모두 고려할 필요가 있다. 그렇다면 인간의 정서를 표현하는 중요한 교과중의 하나로써 무용교육의 장에서는 좋은 수업을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 알아보고자 한다. 이러한 창작예술의 무용교육은 창의적인 신체활동을 통하여 학습자의 신체적, 지적, 정신적, 그리고 사회적인 다양한 면의 향상에 기여할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 무용교사의 좋은 수업에 대한 인식을 질적 연구함으로서 체육교과안에 무용교육에 있어서 교사사고 연구에 계기가 되고자 한다.

This research examined the real examples and their meaning of the educational course being practiced at the school site through the overall understanding and qualitative study by teachers of the 7th education course as a teacher majoring in dancing of the physical education course.
Therefore, as the basic work for the sake of the future 8th education course and independence of the subject of the dancing, I wish to make the following proposals:
(1) In order that the 'national standard of the dancing education' may be established in the national dimension, the preparation committee composed of the specialists/site teachers/administrators, etc should be composed urgently. That is, we should establish the clear direction and accurate goal so that the phased and connected dancing education may be realized, and we may present the systematic achievement and content standards.
(2) The elastic management of the education course which considered the characteristics of the community and school should be realized.
(3) The evaluation standard proper to the characteristics of the phased lesson content, study method, instruction method and units should be established.
(4) The development of the specific "Dancing Guide' which the physical education teachers may apply at the sites is urgent. Therefore, the development of the guide for the elective courses of the sophomore and junior of the high schools, too should be realized at the same time.
(5) Specific and realistic research for the dancing in the elective courses of 11th and 12th grades should be realized. For it, the exchange of the information among the dancing teachers is real above all. Therefore, in the light of the characteristic of the dancing course, the re-education for the dancing teachers should be conducted continuously.
- Understanding of the nature of the course which is changing
- Knowledge of the content of the course
- Knowledge of the instruction methodology
- Maintenance of the objectivity for the evaluation
- Full knowledge of the trend of the dancing education
(6) We should improve the educational environment and facilities so that the dancing education the Ministry of the Education presented may be carried out and reap the result, and not only the development of the instruction guidance measures, with which the practical talent room and classwork connected to the course are possible but also the development of the dancing study materials (Video, CD-Rom, etc.), in which the students may utilize the digital facilities as one method to improve the diversification of the study method and media, are the urgent assignments.
(7) The expansion of the concept of the dancing art by sharing the understanding and knowledge of the entire continuous dancing art and research of the program model to guide the interest of the non-major students are required.
