In this paper, we propose a technique for self-diagnosis of serially connected speakers based on digital technology. A speaker has its unique impedance, which is either 4Ω or 8Ω in general. The unique impedance of each speaker depends on the input frequency to the speaker. Self-diagnosis is performed by the measurement of the impedance of a speaker. According to the system proposed in this paper, we could see the correct self-diagnosis of serially connected speakers.
