蔚山廣域市 高等學校 管樂部 運營 實態 및 活性化 方案 = (A) Study on the Actual Condition and Activities of the High School Brass in Ulsan

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 울산광역시 고등학교 관악부를 운영하고 있는 학교의 지도교사 현황 및 운영의 실태, 관악부원의 활동실태 등을 파악하고, 문제점 분석을 통하여 활성화 방안을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다.
이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 다음과 같은 연구 문제를 두었다.
1. 울산광역시 고등학교 관악부 운영 실태는 어떠한가?
2. 울산광역시 고등학교 관악부 운영의 문제점은 무엇인가?
3. 울산광역시 고등학교 관악부 운영의 활성화 방안은 무엇인가?
본 연구에 필요한 기초자료는 설문지법을 통하여 조사를 하였다. 그 외 설문지에서 미비한 점들은 관악부 지도교사와 관련인사들과의 인터뷰와 해당학교 방문조사로 보충하였다.
자료 수집은 울산광역시에서 관악부를 조직하여 운영하고 있는 고등학교 5개교 경의고등학교, 신정고등학교, 울산공업고등학교, 울산정보산업고등학교, 현대정보과학고등학교의 지도교사 5명과 관악부원 147명(회수율 91.88%)을 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 실시하였다.
본 연구에 나타난 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다.
1. 관악부 지도 교사 현황
울산지역 고등학교에서 관악부를 담당하교 있는 지도교사 5명 중에서 관악을 전공한 교사는 2명에 불과했으며, 나머지 3명은 타 전공자였다.
또한 관악부 지도 경력에서도 5년 이내인 교사가 3명, 10년 이내인 교사가 2명으로 지도 경력이 비교적 짧았으며, 지도경력이 5년 이내인 3명의 교사도 실질적 경력도 1～2년 정도의 짧은 경력을 가지고 있었다.
지도교사가 다룰 줄 아는 악기 종류도 한 종류 3명, 세 종류 2명으로 한 종류정도는 다룰 줄 알지만, 관악부를 지도하는 데는 어느 정도 무리가 따르는 것으로 판단되었다.
2. 관악부 운영 현황
울산지역 고등학교의 관악부 운영 실태를 보면 사립학교 2개교, 공립학교 3개교에서 운영을 하고 있었으며, 그 중 인문계고등학교 2개교, 실업계고등학교 3개교로 나타났다. 조직된 목적을 보면 실업계고등학교 3개교에서는 교내·외 각종 행사를 위하여 조직되었으며, 인문계고등학교 2개교에서는 특기적성교육 및 특별활동의 일환으로 조직되어 운영되고 있었다.
관악부 운영에 있어서 중요한 요인이 되는 예산 출처는 5개교에서 모두 학교 자체 예산으로 운영하고 있었으며, 전체적으로 예산지원이 열악한 수준으로 조사되어 노후악기 교체 및 수리, 소모품 구입, 전문 강사 채용, 부원 복지 등에 어려움을 격고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
3. 관악부원들의 활동 현황
울산지역 지역 고등학교 관악부원들의 남녀 비율을 보면 남학생(35.37%)보다는 여학생(64.62%)이 많았으며, 학년 비율은 1학년(38.78%), 2학년(36.73%), 3학년(24.49%)으로 나타났다. 학년이 올라갈수록 인원이 감소하는 이유는 대학진학의 부담과 흥미 부족으로 관악부를 탈퇴한 것이 원인으로 분석되었다.
관악부를 가입한 동기는 학생 본인의 희망에 의해서(55.78%) 가입을 하였으며, 활동 목적은 취미 생활의 일환으로(62.59%) 활동하고 있었다. 그리고 졸업 후 악기 연주 활동 여부를 묻는 질문에 계속하고 싶다가 41.50%로 가장 높은 응답을 보였으며, 진로에 대해서는 결과 음악대학(27.89%)보다 일반대학(63.27%)으로 진학하기를 희망하고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
4. 활성화 방안
본 연구에는 울산지역 고등학교 관악부 활성화 방안에 대해 다음과 같이 제시하였다.
첫째, 관악부의 활성화를 위해서 가장 시급한 것이 재정적인 지원이다.
둘째, 지도교사의 전문적인 지도가 필요하다.
셋째, 관악부원 모집에 더 많은 노력을 기울여 가정통신문, 홈페이지 홍보 등 관악부 이미지 재고와 학교장 및 담임교사의 적극적인 협조가 필요하다.
넷째, 관악부원들의 중도 탈퇴를 방지하기위하여 내적 동기 유발 장치 및 지원이 절실하다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The research is to grasp the conductor's actual condition, operation condition, brass band's activity condition and to grope activity plan through analyzing problem point. In order to achieve this objective, there are some subjects of inquiry. It is as follows.
1. How is brass band's operation actual condition of high school in Ulsan?
2. What is the problem point in operating a brass band?
3. What is the activity plan in operating a brass band of high school in Ulsan?
Fundamental data which are necessary to the research is investigated through the questionnaire, interview with conductor in brass band and visit investigation.
The collection of data through the questionnaire were 5 high school conductors and 147 brass band members (collection ratio 91.88%); Kuyng-Ui high school, Shin-Jeong high school, Ulsan technical high school, Ulsan information industry high school, Hyun-Dae information science high school systematizing and operating a brass band in Ulsan.
To sum up a thesis, it is as follows.
1. Present condition of a brass band conductor.
The teachers who major a wind music in 5 conductors which take charge of high school brass band in Ulsan were only 2 people, 3 people were else major field. Guidance career is rather short.
Also, conductor having within 5 years career are 3 people and within 10 years are 2 people. Only 3 conductors having within 5 years career have practically one or two years short brass band career.
Though 3 Conductors handle one type instrument, 2 conductors handle three types instrument, It is difficult to conduct a brass band.
2. Operation present condition of a brass band
Two private schools and three public schools in Ulsan operate a brass band.
Also, two academic high schools and three business schools operate a brass band.
To look out the objectives which is systematized, Business schools operate a brass band for the purpose of some kinds of event and academic school operate a brass band for the purpose of special aptitude education, extra activity.
Budget is very important factor in operating a brass band but all five schools were operating with school itself budget.
A budget for the operating school brass band was extremely small and so It is very difficulty in buying articles of consumption, members welfare, adopting a professional instructor, replacing and repairing an old instrument.
3. Activity present condition of a brass band
When we examine The ratio of boys to girls in the high school brass band in Ulsan, Girls were more than boys. the grade ratio was in first grade (38.78%), second grade (36.73%) and third grade (24.49%) in order. The reason which is diminishing was due to being short of interest and being a burden for the going to a university.
The reason for the joining a brass band was by the hope of student oneself (55.78%) and being active for the purpose dilettante life (62.59%).
And students said that they would continuing with playing the instrument (41.50%) and entering a general college (63.27%) than music college (27.89%).
4. Activity plan
In order to improve Brass band's activity plan of the high schools in Ulsan, there are some kinds of way. It is as follows.
First, For the brass band activity, most important thing is finance support.
Second, conductor's professional instruction is necessary.
Third, it demands a more effort in brass band recruitment, and also, the family communication, home page public relation, brass band image reconsideration, the principle and home teacher's positive cooperation are necessary.
Fourth, in order to prevent students from leaving a brass band in mid-course, the inner incentive system and support are necessary.
