새로운 것을 빠르게 흡수하는 유아기에 있어서 여러 장단점을 가진 스마트기기를 일찍 접하고 이를 오남용하게 될 경우, 유아의 발달단계에 있어서 다양한 문제가 유발될 수 있다. 특히 스마트기기를 접하고 사용하는 연령대가 점점 낮아지고 있는 것이 현실이며 유아의 스마트기기 과다사용 문제도 심심치 않게 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 이는 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용 실태에 대한 면밀한 검토와 더불어 스마트기기 과다사용에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 파악함으로써, 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용을 효과적으로 예방하고 올바른 스마트기기 활용이 이루어질 수 있는 방법을 모색할 필요를 보여준다.
이에 본 연구는 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용 관련 선행연구들을 분석함으로써 스마트기기가 유아에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 올바른 스마트기기 활용을 위한 부모의 역할, 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용의 영향요인의 개선 방안의 모색을 위한 기초자료의 제공을 목적으로 하였다.
유아기 스마트기기 과다사용 영향요인에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰을 위해 네 곳의 논문 검색엔진(Riss, Kiss, DBpia, 국회도서관)에서 유아 and 스마트기기, 유아 and 스마트기기 과다사용, 유아 and 스마트기기 문제, 유아 and 스마트기기 영향요인, 유아 and 스마트기기 사용실태를 검색어로 사용해 검색한 결과, 총 479건의 논문이 검색되었다. 검색된 479건의 논문에 대해 선별기준과 배제기준을 적용하여 최종 22편의 문헌을 선정하여 체계적 문헌 분석을 실시하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같이 나타났다.
첫째, 유아기 스마트기기 사용실태는 유아가 스마트기기를 처음 접하는 시기는 36개월로, 스마트기기 사용 연령대의 하향화 현상을 확인할 수 있었다.
둘째, 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용은 유아의 신체적 발달, 정서적 발달, 사회적 발달에서의 문제를 유발할 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.
셋째, 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 부모 요인이 가장 높았으며, 유아의 기질도 유아기 스마트기기 과다사용에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
이러한 결과들은 유아기 스마트기기 사용실태에 있어서 향후 스마트기기 사용 연령대가 더 낮아질 경우를 대비한 연구의 필요성을 보여주는 방증이다. 유아의 성장에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 과다사용 문제를 해소하기 위해서는 부모의 양육태도의 변화가 요구되고, 유아의 기질을 고려한 스마트기기 사용방법의 지도가 필요하다 하겠다. 결과적으로 부모의 스마트기기 과다사용 문제의 선제적 개선이 요구됨을 시사한다.

In early childhood where new things are rapidly absorbed, if smart devices with many advantages and disadvantages are encountered early and abused, various problems may arise in the infant's developmental stage. Especially, it is a fact that the ages of using smart devices are gradually lowering, and there is also a problem of overuse of smart devices of infants. It is necessary to investigate how infants use smart devices in their infancy, and to identify the factors that affect overuse of smart devices in order to prevent overuse of smart devices of infants, and utilize smart devices properly for infants.
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of smart devices on infants by analyzing previous researches related to overuse of smart devices in early childhood, find out the role of parents for correct use of smart devices, and provide basic data for the improvement plan of influential factors of overuse of smart devices in early childhood.
Infants and smart devices, infants and smart device overuse, infants and smart device problems, infants and smart device influencers, and infants and the actual use of smart devices were used as search words in four search engines of thesis(Riss, Kiss, DBpia, National Assembly Library) for systematic consideration of literature about the influencing factors of excessive use of smart devices in infancy, and a total of 479 papers were searched. For the 479 papers retrieved, the final 22 papers were selected by applying the selection criteria and exclusion criteria, and systematic literature analysis was conducted. And the results can be summarized as follows.
First, the actual use of smart devices in infancy was found to be 36 months when infants first encountered smart devices, and we could confirm the downward trend of usage age of smart device.
Second, the overuse of smart devices in early childhood was found to cause problems in infant physical development, emotional development, and social development.
Third, parental factor was the most influential factor in excessive use of smart devices in infancy, and infant temperament also influenced overuse of smart devices in infancy.
These results show the necessity of research for the case that the usage age of smart device is lower in the actual situation of the use of smart devices in infancy. It is necessary to change the parenting attitude in order to overcome the problem of overuse which negatively affects the growth of infants. Guidance on how to use smart devices considering infant temperament is needed, and suggesting that preemptive improvement of parents' overuse of smart devices is required.
