집단미술치료가 지적장애학생의 적응행동에 미친 영향

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 집단미술치료가 지적장애학생의 적응행동에 미친 영향을 알아보기 위하여 실시되었다. 연구대상은 J도에 거주하는 지적장애 고등학생 남녀 12명이었다. 집단미술치료가 지적장애학생의 적응행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 연구 참여 학생을 대상으로 사전에 적응행동검사를 실시한 다음 주 2회씩 20회기동안 집단미술치료를 실시하였다. 집단미술치료를 마친 후 사전검사와 동일한 검사도구로 사후검사를 실시하여 지적장애학생의 적응행동의 변화를 알아보았다. 이러한 절차와 방법을 거쳐 나타난 연구결과를 요약 정리하면 다음과 같다. 먼저, 집단미술치료는 지적장애학생의 사회적 적응행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 적응행동을 하위영역별로 분석한 결과 불신감, 정형화된 행동, 자기학대 행동 등이 유의하게 감소되었다. 반면에 공격행동, 반사회적 행동, 반항행동, 위축행동 등은 유의한 변화가 없었다. 다음으로, 집단미술치료는 지적장애학생의 개인적 적응행동에도 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 개인적 적응행동을 하위영역별로 분석한 결과 나쁜 습관과 부적절한 행동양식이 유의하게 감소된 것으로 나타났다. 반면, 발성습관은 유의한 변화가 없었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to examine the influence of group art therapy on the adaptive behaviors of students with intellectual disabilities. The subjects in this study were 12 selected high school boys and girls with intellectual disabilities who resided in the province of J. In order to find the effects of group art therapy on the adaptive behaviors of the students with intellectual disabilities, their adaptive behaviors were tested in advance. And then, group art therapy was provided for them in 20 sessions, twice a week. After this therapy was offered, a posttest was conducted in the same way as the pretest to see if there would be any changes in their adaptive behaviors. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, the group art therapy had an effective on the personal adaptive behaviors of the students with intellectual disabilities. When the subfactors of their personal adaptive behaviors were analyzed, there was a significant effect in habits and manner, and no significant change was found in utterance vocal habit. Next, group art therapy was effective at improving the social adaptive behaviors of the students with intellectual disabilities as well. When the subfactors of their social adaptive behaviors were analyzed, they made a significant effect in untrustworthy, stereotyped behavior, self abusive. In contrast, there were no significant changes in aggressive behavior, antisocial behavior, oppositional behavior and atrophy behavior. The findings of the study suggest that the group art therapy could be used as a way to bolster the adaptive behaviors of students with intellectual disabilities.
