독거노인의 주기적 약 복용 관리를 위한 복합적 스마트 제품 서비스 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 사회는 고령화가 심화되고 있으며 독거노인 인구가 꾸준히 늘어나고 있다. 따라서 그들의 생활 및 심리적 욕구 문제를 충족시키는 것이 사회의 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 그리하여 독거노인들을 보살피고 일상생활에서의 어려움을 해결하여 그들에게 마음의 위안을 주는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구의 목적은 약 복용을 잊거나 약의 효능 정보를 잊는 등 건망증 증세와 약을 오용하는 현상에 대하여 해결방안을 모색하는 것이다. 따라서 본 논문은 독거노인 주기적 약 복용 관리를 위한 제품 서비스 디자인을 시도하였다.
연구결과 및 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독거노인의 생리적 특성, 심리적 특성에 대한 검토를 통해 그들의 생활에서 사용되는 제품을 조사하고 분석하고자 한다. 독거노인의 시각, 청각, 촉각 등 감각기관의 생리 기능이 지속적으로 저하되고 있기 때문에 비관, 초조, 우울 등 심리적 문제가 생기기 쉽다. 이러한 부정적인 정서로 인해 심각할 경우 극단적인 선택으로 이어질 수도 있기 때문에 노인 자살률도 증가하고 있다. 둘째, 인터뷰조사와 문헌조사를 통해 독거노인의 일상생활을 조사하고 분석하여 그들의 생활문제와 수요를 파악하였다. 독거노인은 일상생활에서 음식섭취 저하, 영양 불균형, 그리고 약 복용 관리 문제가 특히 두드러지는데, 약 먹는 것을 잊거나 약의 효능 정보를 잊는 등 건망증 증세와 약을 오용하는 현상 등이 있다. 셋째, 노인 스마트 제품 서비스 조사 분석을 통해 이러한 제품 서비스의 특징 알아보았다. 넷째, 이상의 일련의 조사 분석을 통해 디자인 요소를 도출하고 독거노인의 약 복용 관리 문제를 해결하는 것에 주력하여 서비스 디자인하였다. 청력 저하, 노안으로 사물이 잘 보이지 않는 경우, 약 먹는 것을 잊는 경우, 약 놓는 위치를 잊는 경우, 약의 효능 및 효과를 잊거나 약 오용하는 경우, 긴급구조와 감성 수요 등 문제를 중점적으로 해결했다. 이러한 서비스 디자인 시도가 독거노인을 위한 스마트 제품 서비스에 기여할 수 있기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Nowadays, the aging of society is becoming more and more serious, and the number of the elderly living alone is increasing constantly. The physiological and psychological needs of the elderly living alone have become one of the important social problems. Thus, problems of their lifestyle and psychological needs has become an important social issue. It is necessary to take care of the old people living alone, solve their difficulties in daily life and provide spiritual comfort. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to study the smart product service for the elderly living alone to take medicine regularly, aiming at the forgetful symptoms such as forgetting to take medicine, forgetting the function information of medicine, and taking medicine randomly.
The results and contents of this paper are as follows: First of all, through the study of the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly living alone, we have learned about the decline of sensory system and physiological function of the elderly, such as vision, hearing, touch, etc. They are very lonely, prone to pessimism, anxiety and depression. The accumulation of these negative emotions leads to a higher suicide rate among the elderly. Secondly, Through interviews and literature surveys, the daily life of the elderly living alone was investigated and analyzed to understand their life problems and needs. Poor diet, unbalanced nutrition; especially drug management problems, forgetting to take medicine, forgetting the function information of medicine and other forgetful symptoms and disorderly taking medicine often occur in daily life. And then, through the investigation and analysis of smart products and services for the elderly, we can understand the characteristics of these products and services. Finally, the design elements are derived through a series of investigation and analysis. In order to better solve the problem of Drug Administration for the elderly living alone, the service design tried to focus on hearing loss and presbyopia; forgetting to take medicine, forgetting the position of drug delivery, forgetting the functional attribute of the medicine, taking medicine in disorder; emergency assistance and emotional needs. I hope that this kind of design attempt will be helpful to the product design of the elderly living alone.
