에센셜 오일이 피부미용사의 건강에 미치는 영향 : 자각증상 및 혈액지표를 기준으로 = Influence of essential oil on estheticians' health : on the basis of subjective symptoms and blood indices

국문 초록 (Abstract)

현재 에센셜오일의 특수한 효능에 관한 연구는 다양하게 이루어지고 있으나 에센셜오일이 피부미용사의 건강에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 미비하다. 이에 피부 관리실에서의 에센셜오일 노출 시간에 따른 피부미용사의 자각증상 및 생리학적 변화를 조사하여 피부미용사에게 나타날 수 있는 증상에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 피부미용사의 자각증상에 따라 에센셜오일이 피부미용사의 건강에 미치는 영향을 혈액지표를 이용하여 측정하였으며, 실험결과를 분석하여 에센셜오일의 안전성을 확립하고 에센셜오일이 원인이 되어 나타날 수 있는 증상을 예방하기 위해 필요한 자료를 제시하였다.
본 조사는 아로마테라피 관리경력에 따른 피부미용사의 건강상태를 분석하기 위해 2009년 2월 23일부터 3월 14일까지 20일간 서울, 경기, 광주, 부산지역에 피부관리실을 직접 방문하여 아로마테라피 관리경력에 따른 피부미용사를 대상으로 300부 설문지를 배포하여 그 중 불성실한 응답을 한 설문지 12부를 제외하고 총 288부의 자료를 최종으로 분석하였으며, 실험 연구는 30대 일반여성 12명과 아로마테라피 관리경력 6년～9년 미만의 30대 피부미용사 12명 등 총 24명을 선정하여 2009년 5월 1일부터 6월 17일까지 혈액지표 변화를 조사 하였다.

Currently, the special effects of essential oil are being researched in different ways, but the research of the influence of essential oil on estheticians' health is short. Therefore, this paper examined estheticians' subjective symptoms and physiological changes by the time they are exposed to essential oil in skin care shops, and further, it studied the symptoms that can be found in estheticians. Based on estheticians' subjective symptoms, it measured the influence of essential oil on estheticians' health, using blood indices, and based on the analysis of the testing results, it proposed the necessary data for formulating the safety of essential oil and preventing the symptoms resulting from essential oil.
In order to analyze estheticians' health status depending on the experience of working on aroma therapy, it visited skin care shops in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gwangju, and Busan for 20 days from February 23 to March 14, 2009, and distributed 300 questionnaires to estheticians. Among the collected questionnaires, 12 insincerely replied questionnaires were excluded and a total of 288 questionnaires were finally analyzed. 12 general women in 30s and 12 estheticians in 30s having the experience of working on aroma therapy for 6~9 years were chosen for the experiment on the changes in blood indices from May 1, 2009 to June 17.
