The conventional EXIT Lamps for public facilities such as large-scale buildings, hospitals, theaters, schools, and subways have many faults such as high power consumption (approx. 20-30W), poor lamp durability (approx. 2,000hours), and poor installation due to its bulk. Therefore, this thesis presented energy-saving flat EXIT Lamp system.
It has 94% visible ray transmissivity and uses easily processed transparent PMMA(Poly Methyl Meth Acrylate) panel with V/CUT pattern using optical simulation as the light guide panel of the EXIT Lamps. The structure maximizes light efficiency using CCFT(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Tube) lamp, diffuser film, prism film, and mold frame with the peripheral circuit system for driving inverter having more than 2,000cd/㎡ in brightness, 90% brightness uniformity, lamp durability of up to 20,000hours, and 50% electric energy reduction aside from its fine exterior and improved installation.
