재난안전관리 인력의 직무만족에 관한 연구 : 중앙행정기관 및 공공기관을 중심으로 = A Study of Emergency Management Personnel’s Job Satisfaction: National Government Agencies and Public Institutions

국문 초록 (Abstract)

공공부문의 재난안전관리 업무종사자들은 재난 및 안전사고 발생 이후, 자주 비판에 직면하며, 부당한 이유로 정치인들의 희생양이 되기도 한다. 이러한 재난안전관리 업무종사자들의 직무만족을 높이고, 장기 근무를 유도하기 위해 그들의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구는 중앙행정기관과 공공기관에 종사하는 442명의 재난안전관리 업무종사자들을 대상으로 2020년에 수행된 설문조사를 바탕으로 그들의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 상황적 요인과 기질적 요인에 대해 검토하였다. 분석결과, 재난안전관리 업무종사자들의 직무만족에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인은 리더십과 공공봉사동기 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 공공부문의 재난안전관리 인력의 직무만족에 대한 이해와 폭넓은 상황적 및 기질적 영향요인을 검토했다는 점에서 직무만족에 대한 전반적 이해를 높인다.

Public sector emergency management personnel have been often criticized and become scapegoats after a disaster and an emergency. Improving the personnel’s job satisfaction and commitment to their career, an understanding of the determinants of their job satisfaction is critical. This study investigated to what extent situational and disposition factors influence the emergency management personnel’s job satisfaction using 2020 surveys of the personnel of South Korean national agencies and public institutions. The regression results show that developmental leadership and public service motivation have positive and significant effects on job satisfaction. This study enhanced the understanding of the public sector emergency management personnel’s job satisfaction and the determinants of general job satisfaction.
