The calculation of earthwork plays a major role in plan or design of many civil engineering projects, and thus it has become very important to advanced the accuracy of earthwork calculation.
In this paper, a proposal formular by first and third equation

is compared with trapezoidal, sim[son formulas to earthwork volume.
Also, I have derived to the algorithms and show the following conclusions to the practical application.
Practical application of each method to the excavation volume is illustrated by elevation model of terrain1-6 by level surveying.
As a result , algorithm of proposal formular should provide a better accuracy than trapezoidal, simpson formulas to earthwork volume in use.
Practical application show that proposal formular should provided a better accuracy to the 22-51% in terrain 1, 24-122% in terrain 2, 20-200% in terrain 3, 106-311% in terrain 4, 20-277% in terrain 5, 57-173% in terrain 6, than the trapezoidal, simpson1,2 formular.
