헝가리어권 학습자 대상 한국어 부사격 조사 ‘-에’,‘-에서’의 조사 교육 방안 = A study on the educational approach to the Korean locative particles ‘-에’and‘-에서’for learners in the Hungarian-speaking region

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 언어 유형학적 관점에서 한국어와 헝가리어의 부사격 조사를 대조분석하고 헝가리어권 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 한국어의 부사격 조사‘-에’와 ‘-에서’의 사용에서 예측되는 오류를 분석하여 그 교육적 전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 한국어의 격조사 가운데 ‘-에’와 ‘-에서’의 부사격 조사는 다양한 언어권의 학습자에게서 그리고 그들의 한국어 언어능력 수준과 관계없이 오류가 자주 발생하는 문법이다. 헝가리어는 우랄어족에 속하는 언어로, 한국어와 유사한 교착어 유형을 갖추고 있어 격조사를 모음조화에 따라 추가할 수 있는 특징이 있다. 즉, 헝가리어는 결합하는 부사격 조사 자체가 위치와 방향을 나타내지만, 한국어에서는 결합하는 장소나 시간 명사가 동사에 따라‘-에’와 ‘-에서’의 의미 용법이 다르게 쓰인다. 이 연구를 통해 헝가리어로 한국어를 학습하는 학습자들에게 문법 구조의 맥락에서 헝가리어의 ‘-에’와 ‘-에서’의 부사격 조사의 사용에서 긍정적 전이와 부정적 전이를 조사하여 볼 수 있었다. 한국어의‘-에’와 ‘-에서’에 해당하는 헝가리어의 공간위치(내부·위·옆) 처소격 조사와 각 처소격 조사를 다시 이동방향(정지, 접근, 이탈)으로 나누어 한국어 문법 사용에서의 공통점 및 차이점을 이해하고 이를 교육 전략에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하여 헝가리어 언어권 한국어 학습자에게 도움이 되고자 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aimed to conduct a contrastive analysis of the locative particles in Korean and Hungarian from a linguistic typological perspective. It focused on analyzing the predicted errors in the use of Korean locative particles '-에' and '-에서' among learners in the Hungarian-speaking region, regardless of their proficiency level in Korean, with the goal of presenting educational strategies. Among Korean case markers, the locative particles '-에' and '-에서' are frequently associated with errors among learners from various language backgrounds. Hungarian, belonging to the Uralic language family, shares a similar agglutinative typology with Korean and has the characteristic feature of adding case markers according to vowel harmony. Specifically, Hungarian combines locative particles that inherently indicate location and direction. In contrast, Korean uses '-에' and '-에서' differently depending on the noun accompanying the verb, indicating a difference in meaning and usage. This study observed positive and negative transfer in the use of Hungarian locative particles '-에' and '-에서' by learners studying Korean in the context of grammatical structures. By examining the spatial locative case markers in Hungarian corresponding to '-에' and '-에서' in Korean (internal, above, next to), and categorizing them based on directional movement (stop, approach, departure), the study aimed to understand the commonalities and differences in grammar usage between the two languages. The ultimate goal is to explore effective ways to apply these insights to educational strategies, providing assistance to Hungarian-speaking learners of Korean.
