한국의 전통적 효사상과 부모부양의 당위성에 관한 연구 = A stdy on the Traditionna Ideology of Korea and the Justification of Parental Support

Hyo(孝) is a unique idea of our nation. It has been based on value standards in traditional family relationships for many years and has been regarded as a virtue that maintains the most basic parent-child relationship of human relations. It also extended the scope of meaning beyond the family relationship to the chung, which is the virtue of the main role for society and the nation. The basic ethics of Hyo is parental respect and fraternal love and family love, but it has greatly developed with consideration and love for neighbors.
Hyo is the basic principle of hundred things and the guiding principle of all human life, the first of all human actions, and the right way to build up the family. In other words, Hyo is a source of virtue and a guide for education.
Today, our society is becoming more and more alienated from humanity due to materialism, morality and ethics are gradually disappearing, and interest in parental children is changing different from traditional concept.
The change of values according to these social changes should be reexamined so that the existing Hyohui ethics will be adapted to the modern society in response to social change. Especially, since the efficacy education in the modern family has not changed from an essential point of view, the methodology and practice of the filial piety education which is inevitable due to the structural change of the society along with the expectation flow must be changed.
We have traditionally regarded loving and honoring parents as our bodies as ethically beautiful and good behaviors. Just as the essence of filial piety is not a material thing, but a desire to serve parents with honor, and a human mind is making a world with affection, the right mind must be decided when it is intended to do something. In this way, old-age honor is the foundation of benevolence, and if honorable elders are honored, a bright society can be achieved and the nation can achieve its development. Based on the basic ethics of filial piety, we should educate our parents to make honorable and harmonious families so that our society will not be alienated by materialism and individualism, and to give consideration and love to others. Therefore, modern society shows the high suicide rate of elderly living alone, and it is thought that filial piety education will be a guideline to solve social problems that crime and flight increase due to loss of filial piety.
The purpose of this paper is that the culture of traditional culture of our country is the most global, and the crisis of modern education has come with the acceptance of Western thought without criticism. First of all, it emphasizes the need to strengthen the spirit of filial piety from the family, faithfully support the parents, and encourage and spread the practice movement.
