퀘벡의 transculturalisme과 국문학의 정립문제

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 전화문화주의와 특히 신퀘벡인의 이주문학의 도전에 직면한 퀘벡문학과 관련하여 국민의 개념을 다룬 연구이다. 이 문제를 다루기 위해 본 연구는 주로 레진 로뱅의 이주문학, 클레망 무아장과 르나트 일드브랑의 연구, 쥘 뒤피의 관점 등을 살펴보았다. 주된 쟁점은 이주문학이 출현함에 따라 민족이나 국민에 기초를 둔 퀘벡문학의 문제라 할 수 있다. 대표적 이주문학 작가, 레진 로뱅은 문학에 있어 국민성의 개념을 심각하게 문제 삼았다. 반면 몬트리올 대학의 퀘벡문학 학자인 쥘 뒤피 교수는 이주문학이 내세우는 전화문화주의 과대한 영향을 중화시키고자 80년대 단수의 이주문학 대신 복수의 이주문학 개념을 내세웠다. 왜냐하면 넓게 본다면 전통적인 퀘벡문학도 신세계로 이주해온 이주문학에 속하기 때문이다. 하지만 쥘 뒤피의 관점은 프랑스계 퀘벡인의 관점을 대변하는 매우 미묘한 논리를 제공하므로 조심스럽게 수정될 필요가 있었다. 왜냐하면 퀘벡의 전환문화주의는 소위 전환-문화라고 부를 수 있는 미래 문화의 변모를 가능하게 함으로써 소외된 사회와 마이너 사회와 관련되기 때문이다. 실제로 이주문학의 출현과 더불어 퀘벡에서 국문학의 개념은 불가능해졌다. 퀘벡문학에서 국문학의 개념은 퀘벡 역사를 볼 때 매우 모호한 개념이다. 대신에 혼종퀘벡문학을 상정해야만 할 것이다. 퀘벡문학은 존재한다, 하지만 수많은 다양한 목소리로 구성되며 그렇기 때문에 퀘벡에서 국문학의 개념은 의심스러운 것이 된다. 퀘벡의 혼종문학의 근본적 원칙은 복수라 할 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

In this study we try to deal with the concept of nationality in relation to Quebec literature, challenged by the transculturalism and especially that of the migrant writing neo-Quebec. For this we look around this issue, criticism of Régine Robin, theories of Clément Moisan and Renate Hildebrand, and those of Gilles Dupis. It is through the transcultural migrant writing the notion of Quebec literature based on ethnicity, or nationality. Régine Robin, writer of migrant writing, seriously questions the notion of nationality in the literature. Yet Gilles Dupis neutralized the influence sometimes exaggerated by transculturalism, rejecting the notion of migrant writing in the singular to emphasize that of migrant writings in the plural. Does this mean that it would indicate the end of the transculturalism in Quebec? We refuted this very subtle and implicit argument but pointed out his critical theory. Because transculturalism of Quebec is facing alienated society and cultural minorities to create the possibility of its further cultural transformation that is so-called the trans-culture.
