      In construction industry, cost estimation and site productivity management are based on designed labor quantities calculated by the Standard Quantities per Unit (SQU) normally. This study was recognized the necessity of new cost estimation models for the rational construction cost estimation. To improve estimation technique and construction ability, it was needed to consider work crew about the optimal work crew combination of placing concrete. Therefore, this research suggested the calculation and analytic method of determining the optimal work crew combination of placing concrete using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. Case study was performed to validate DEA model using actual data collected from construction sites. The result of case study shows that the third Decision Making Units (DMU) among ten DMUs was technologically efficient. It is expected that the DEA method used in this study can help the construction manager to extract the optimal crew for placing concrete of structural construction.
