수도권 거주 화자의 자음군 말음 어간 실현 양상에 대하여 = On the Realization of the stem-final consonant clusters in Seoul and Kyeonggi

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 수도권(서울·경기)에 거주하는 비수도권(충남·전라·경상·제주) 출신 화자들을 대상으로 하여, 자음군 말음 어간의 실현에 있어서 제보자들의 출신지와 변이형 선택 사이에 상관관계가 있는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 20대부터 60대까지의 제보자들을 대상으로 조사한 결과 체언 ‘값(價)’과 ‘흙(土)’, 용언 ‘밝다(明)’, ‘떫다(澁)’에서는 출신지와 변이형 사이의 관련성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 즉 우세한 변이형으로 변이형이 단일화되는 방언 균일화 현상이 나타난 것이다. 변이형이 단일화되는 방향은 전국 방언 분포에서 나타나는 비율이 높은, 우세한 어간이었다.
이와 달리 용언 ‘읽는다(讀)’, ‘밟는다(踏)’, ‘뚫고(穿)’의 실현에서는 출신지와 변이형 사이의 상관관계를 확인할 수 있었다. 서부 방언형인 ‘[잉는다](讀)’, ‘[밤는다](踏)’, ‘[뚤코](穿)’는 충남ㆍ전라ㆍ제주 출신 제보자들에게서, 동부 방언형인 ‘[일른다](讀)’, ‘[발른다](踏)’, ‘[뚤꼬](穿)’는 경상도 출신 제보자들에게서 주로 확인되었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study focuses on a correlation between speakers’ native dialect and variants in the Korean stem-final consonant clusters.
For this purpose I conducted a dialect survey focusing on speakers who moved to Seoul from their birth places. According to the survey, it is investigated that there is no correlation between speakers’ native dialect and variants in case of 값kaps, 흙hulk, 밝다palkta and 떫다ttelpta. It means that there is a dialect leveling, that is, the numbers of dialectal forms has decreased. As a result, various dialectal forms are simplifed into a predominant dialectal forms in Korea.
On the other hand, there is a correlation between speakers’ naitve dialect and variants on 읽는다ilknunta, 밟는다palpnunta and 뚫고ttwulhko. It means that speakers who from West of Korea(Chungnam and Jella) tend to choose the Western dialectal forms and speakers who from East of Korean (Kyeongsang) tend to choose the Eastern dialectal forms.
