This study is to detect a small desired signal using nonlinear cancellation and Automatic Gain Control (AGC) in the presence of large interference signal with largely varying envelope.
As an example of the large signal, AM interference is treated. By using Hard Limiter with small signal suppression effect and Automatic Gain Control(AGG), the AM interference is canceled adaptively, and therefore the improvement ratio of signal to noise ratio can be improved about from 10dB to 30dB over all the range of the modulation index of the AM interference.
