0-3세 영유아를 위한 반응적 보육과정의 개념 및 구성요인에 관한 고찰 = Conceptualization and constructs of reactive child care curriculum for newborn-to three-year-old children

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 영유아보육법의 개정으로 대학에서 ‘보육과정’을 필수과목으로 가르쳐야 하는 상황에 접하여 보육과정의 내용을 무엇으로 할 것인가 그리고 현장에서 교사들이 아동들에게 무엇을 어떻게 가르칠 것인가의 문제에 대한 기초적 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 현재까지 보육교사 양성을 위해 대학에서 가르쳐야 하는 과목에 대한 합의도 불충분할 뿐 아니라보육과정을 무엇으로 할 것인가에 대해서는 일치된 의견이 없다. 기존에 대학에서는 유아교육과정과 보육과정을 혼동하여 사용하였고 보육과정이라는 과목이 개설되지 않았으며 프로그램이라는 이름의 과목이 학교에 따라 개설되어 왔다. 이러한 배경 하에 본 논문에서는 0-3세에 초점을 맞추어 보육과정의 개념을 무엇으로 할것인가, 보육과정의 모형과 구성요소는 무엇이어야 하는가 등에 대해 논의하므로써 보육과정제작의 기초를 제공하고자 한다. 특히 영유아의 빠른 발달적 변화와 관심사에 반응적으로 대처해야 함여 강조하여 ‘반응적 보육과정’이라는 이름으로 보육과정의 개념 및 구성요인을 논의 하였다. 영유아를 중심으로 논의하고자 하는 이유는 이후의 연령단계 아동을 대상으로 하는 유아교육과정이 상대적으로 체계적으로 제정되어 있기 때문에 영유아를 위한 보육과정이 절실히 필요하기 때문이고 두 번째는 최근 영유아기의 중요성에 대한 인식이 커지고 있는 것에 근거한 것이다. 사회, 정서적 문제를 진 2-3세 영유아들의 비율이 증가하고 있고, 유아들이 학습문제, 또래관계문제, 불안정 애착 등의 문제를 보이며 이런 문제들이 연령이 증가해도 없어지지 않고 시간이 지나면서 점차 악화되거나 다른 문제로 전이하는 경향이 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to provide basic alternative plans for current teachers on what and how to teach young children as well as what to include in child care curriculum since `child care curriculum`` became a required course in university as a result of revised infant and child care law. There is not enough consultation on what courses should be taught in university to educate child care teachers until now and no agreement on how to make child care curriculum. Universities used the concepts of early childhood curriculum and child care curriculum as similar ones and there was no opened course for child care curriculum except for some ``programs` provided by some universities. Considering the above situation, this study provides basics for making child care curriculum by discussing the concept of child care curriculum as well as models and construct of child care curriculum focusing on young children from 0 to 3 years old. Especially, it discusses the concept and construct of child care curriculum under the name of ``reactive child care curriculum`` emphasizing the importance of reactive response to fast developmental changes and interests of young children. One of the reasons why this study discusses the matter focusing on young children is because there are relatively systematic early childhood curriculum for older children indicating immediate need for early child care curriculum. The other reason is based on the fact that there has been recent increase in recognition on importance of infancy and early childhood. There is an increase in percentage of young children between 2 and 3 years old with social and emotional problems and young children show problems of learning, peer relationship and unstable attachment. These problems tend not to disappear as young children grow older and get even worse as time goes by or transfer to other problems.
