The primary purpose of this study is to compare the recognized level of quality of child care, satisfaction level, and level of separation anxiety between the women employee using workplace child care facility and those using general child care facility. The study choose each of 4 places of workplace child care facilities and general child care facilities, and did survey 237 women employee from September 25th to October 25th, 2002. As a result of study, although there was no significant difference between the women employee using workplace child care facility and those using general child care facility in terms of recognized level of quality of child care, the satisfaction level by the women employee using workplace child care facility was higher than those using general child care facility, and the level of separation anxiety by the women employee using general child care facility was higher than those using workplace child care facility. Therefore, this study suggests that government and employer should try to expand workplace child care facilities in order to secure not only for the psychological stability of women employee and for the right of labor of women employee as well.
