폴 리쾨르(Paul Ricoeur)의 사상에 나타난 칼뱅(J. Calvin)의 개혁주의 신학 = The Christian thought of Paul Ricœur in the perspective of reformed theology of J. Calvin

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 폴 리쾨르의 철학 가운데 나타나는 기독교 사상에 관한 연구이다. 프랑스 개혁교회의 신자로 한평생을 살았기 때문에 그의 사상의 기저에는 그가 속했던 프랑스 위그노 전통의 개혁교회(Eglise réofrmée)의 신앙이 토대를 이루고 있다. 칼뱅의 신학을 기반으로 하는 프랑스 개혁주의 신학은 크게 하나님의 절대 주권, 인간의 전적인 타락, 그리고 성경은 하나님의 말씀이라는 성경관과 사회에 대한 책임으로 특징지을 수 있을 것이다. 리쾨르의 기독교 사상은 철학적인 사유와 방법론을 통해 자신의 사상을 구축하고 있는 성경해석학, 인간학, 윤리학과 관련된 작품에서 발견하게 된다. 본 연구는 리쾨르의 저서, 자서전적 대담, 주변의 동료들의 증언을 중심으로 그의 기독교 사상을 ‘칼뱅’의 개혁주의 관점에서 다루어 보고자 한다. 논자는 16세기 개혁주의 전통 가운데 현재까지 이르러 계승 발전된 사상 가운데, 지성주의, 성경해석학, 교회와 국가의 관계(정교분리 원칙)를 중심으로 살펴볼 것이다. 이 연구를 통해서 16세기 칼뱅의 개혁주의 신학이 5세기를 지나며 현재 프랑스 개혁주의 교회에 그리고 한 개신교도인 철학자에게 어떻게 계승되어 변화 발전해 왔는지를 가늠해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is a study of Christian ideas in the philosophy of Paul Ricoeur. Because he spent his entire life as a member of the French Reformed Church, his ideas are grounded in the beliefs of the Reformed Church (Eglise réofrmée) of the French Huguenot tradition to which he belonged. Based on the theology of Calvin, French Reformed theology can be broadly characterized by the absolute sovereignty of God, the total depravity of man, and a view of the Bible as the Word of God and our responsibility to society. Ricoeur's Christian thought is found in works related to biblical hermeneutics, anthropology, and ethics, where he builds his ideas through philosophical thought and methodology. This study will focus on Ricker's writings, autobiographical interviews, and the testimonies of his colleagues and peers to address his Christian thought from a 'Calvinistic' Reformed perspective. The paper will focus on intellectualism, biblical hermeneutics, and the relationship between church and state (the principle of separation of church and state), among other ideas that have been developed in the Reformed tradition from the 16th century to the present. This study will allow us to see how the Reformed theology of Calvin in the sixteenth century has changed and developed over the course of five centuries in the French Reformed Church and in a Protestant philosopher.
