농촌지역 공동주택 농가의 공간이용 행태에 관한 조사연구(진주시 근교 농촌지역을 중심으로) = A Study on the Space Usage Behaviors of Farmhouse in Rural Apartment Houses

The purpose of this tudy is to examine the space usage behavi ors of dweling by using field study methodand by interviewing residents of apartment houses in rural a reas. It has ben found that he main ocupancyspace among the residents of apartment houses in rural area i s based on agricultural activities.This tudy wil show that apartment houses in rural areas mus t, as a necesity, reflect he characteristicsand neds of its rural environment. It is certain that he xi sting "unit plan" is not a suitable method.Residents of rural areas have ben able to adjust hemselves to their curent dweling space properly. This is,mainly, due to economic factors. The interior space is used f or simple veryday activities like loading, depositand rying things. "Nongmak" is a space used for agricultura l work and the balcony is used for storage ofvarious things.In conclusion, this tudy strongly sugested that secure st orage space based on the farmhouse model andrural ifestyle should be necesary. Furthermore, special designed cubic shelves hould be placed in utilityroms and balconys. And the design and function of apartment houses in rural areas must reflect he nedsof its residents.
