인간중심 사고 기반의 디자인과 건축 협업 접근방식에 관한 연구 -디자인 씽킹 공감(Empathize)과 문제 정의(Define) 단계 중심으로-

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 인간중심 사고를 바탕으로 사람을 공감하고 소통하기 위해 진행된 연구로 사람과 다양한 이해관계자에 대한 관찰과 이해를 통해, 실제 잠재되어 있는 니즈와 문제점이 무엇인지 도출하는 것을 목표로 한다. 디자인과 건축 분야의 인간중심 사고 개념을 바탕으로 서로 다른 두 분야의 협업 접근방식의 방향성을 제안하기 위해 실시한 본 연구는 첫째, 디자인과 건축의 의미와 그 역할의 변화를 분석하기 위해 문헌자료의 범위를 국내외 논문, 다양한 책 등을 통한 디자인과 건축의 정의와 의미를 분석하였다.
둘째, 두 분야의 인간중심적 다양한 시각을 이해하고 그에 맞는 방향성을 분석하기 위해 인간중심의 의미와 각 분야의 적용 사례를 정리하였다.
셋째, 문제해결 방법으로써 디자인 씽킹 방법론을 통해 논리적이고 구체적인 사고 방법을 통한 두 분야의 협업 적용을 실험해보았다.
넷째, 건축 공간과 건축 요소에 따른 사람들의 감정의 변화, 경험을 분류하여 실제 거주하는 사람들의 입장이 되어 이해하므로 거주자들이 행동하는 삶의 양식, 경험 등을 비슷하게 느껴보고 예측해 봄으로써 실제 느끼는 불편 사항이나 개선점을 공감하였다.
본 연구 결과는 실제 사례 적용 및 분석을 통한 4가지 단계의 협업의 필요성을 제시하였다.
그 단계로는 각 분야에서의 인간중심 관점 선행 연구의 필요성 인지, 선행 연구자의 연구를 통한 이론적 근거 제시, 디자인과 건축 분야의 인간중심 적용 사례를 분석하여 디자인 씽킹의 공감하기와 문제 정의 단계 연구 범위 구체화, 현장답사, 쉐도잉, 페르소나, 주민여정지도를 적용한 관찰과 분석 방법 제시로 나타났다.
앞으로 서로 다른 두 분야의 협업 시 인간 중심적 사고를 바탕으로 어떻게 접근하고 협업해야 하는지, 그리고 그 공통점으로는 기본적으로 인간을 이해하고 공감함으로써 서로 다른 관점을 해석하고 적용하는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초 자료로써 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was conducted to empathize and communicate with people based on Human-Centered Design and aims to derive actual potential needs and problems through observation and understanding of people and various stakeholder. Based on the concept of Human-Centered Design in the field of design and architecture, this study was conducted to propose the direction of a collaborative approach in two different fields. First, to analyze the meaning of design, architecture and the change in their role, the definition and meaning of design and architecture were analyzed through various literature reviews. Second, to understand the various Human-Centered perspectives of the two fields, the meaning of Human-Centered and application cases in each field were summarized. Third, as a Problem-Solving method, experimented with the application of two fields of collaboration through a logical and concrete thinking method through the design thinking methodology. Fourth, by categorizing people’s emotions and experiences according to the architectural space and elements, understanding them in the position of the actual residents, they feel similarly and predict the lifestyles and experiences the actual residents behave in. As a result, presents the necessity of four stages of collaboration are recognizing the necessity of Human-Centered Design in each field, analyzing cases study in design and architecture to empathize with design thinking, As a method of observation and analysis research scope, field visit, shadowing, persona, and resident journey map. I expect this research can be helpful as the primary data when applying different perspectives by understanding and empathizing with humans as a common point in how to approach based on Human-Centered Design.
