韓國農村 定住集村化 計劃에 관한 硏究 : 湖南平野部의 新平集村化를 中心으로 = A Study on the Physical Planning of the Rural Settlement in Korea

In our Country, rural villages have been developed toward the modernization though such projects as mechanization electrification, roof improvement and village readjustment by the Saemaeul Movement since 1960's.
But in spite of such development in rural area. its environment has hardly been improved.
The betterment of rural environment will be done by remodeling the rural settlement.
The purpose of this study is to propose a new modeling as a guideline of the rural houses and rural settlement planning though a detailed analysis of the present rural circumstances.
I found out that there are many factors to figure out the settlement pattern, such as locational factor, environmental system, boundary and domain concept, and centripetal characteristics which have much influences on the rural settlement.
There patterns, unit pattern is for one unit dwelling, block pattern is for dwelling groups (10 households), and basic pattern is for whole settlement, were established for a model to apply to one basic rural settlement (200 households).
I believe that this rural settlement model should be contributed for functional urbanization and gardening society.
