한국인의 죽음의 질 척도 개발 및 타당화 연구 = Development and Validation of the Quality of Death Scale for Koreans

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국인의 죽음의 질 척도를 개발하고 그 타당성을 검증하는것을 목적으로 하였다. 우선, 좋은 죽음과 죽음의 질에 대한 문헌고찰과 심층면담결과를 바탕으로 예비적 구성 개념을 도출한 뒤, 이를 범주화하여 예비문항을 개발하였다. 이후 전문가집단의 내용타당도 검증 및 포커스집단을 통한 파일럿 검증을 거쳐 30개 문항을 선정하였다. 전국 성인 1,824명을 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시한 후, 탐색적 요인분석을 수행한 결과, 한국인의 죽음의 질 척도는‘자기결정권’, ‘심리적 안녕’, ‘자립활동’, ‘간병부담’의 4가지 요인과 26개 문항으로구성됨을 확인하였다. 확인적 요인분석 결과, 모형의 적합성, 수렴타당성, 판별타당성이 검증되었고, 상관분석 결과 준거타당성이 검증되었다. 척도의 신뢰도는Cronbach’s α값으로 확인하였다. 마지막으로, 한국인의 죽음의 질 척도 개발의의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is aims to develop and validate the Quality of Death Scale for Koreans. First, based on the results of the literature review and in-depth interviews, construct concepts were derived and preliminary items were developed. Through content validity verification by experts group and a pilot test by focus group, 30 items were selected. Subsequently, an online survey was administered to 1,824 adults nationwide. Explaratory factor analyses identified that the scale constructs four factors with 26 items. The four factors are confirmed : ‘self-determination,’ ‘psychological well-being,’ ‘independent activity,’ and ‘care burden’. Confirmatory factor analysis validated the model’s appropriateness, convergent validity, and discriminant validity, while criterion validity was confirmed through correlation analysis. The reliability of the scale was confirmed by Cronbach’s α value. Finally, the significance of developing the Korean Quality of Death Scale and suggestions for future research were discussed.
