A rotor which is essential component in rotation machine is used in high temperature and pressure. Recently, research for the small rotor is studied because of demanding for miniature generators and micro air vehicles. Machining the rotor is difficult, because the rotor is made of Inconel alloy which is heat-resisting and corrosion-resisting material. This study is researched on milling properties of Inconel alloy 718 to machine small rotor. Conditions of Inconel 718 machining are made through analyzing the machined surface, roughness and cutting force, by changing cutting conditions which are tool feed rate, cutting depth and cutting oil. The small rotor is machined to use the established milling conditions.
