In this study, the fatigue life of an agricultural by-product collector was analyzed using dynamic simulation analysis. Considering its structure, the fastening device is the most vulnerable part of the agricultural by-product collector. Therefore, the fatigue life of the fastening device was analyzed when the agricultural by-product collector moved forward in three different ground conditions (flat, sinusoidal, and with right-triangular shaped obstacles). The agricultural by-product collector was modeled in actual 3-dimensional shape, and the physical properties were input for simulation analysis. The forward speed of the agricultural by-product collector and the height of the obstacles were set to 1.0 m/s and 20 cm, respectively. As a result of simulation, the fatigue life of the fastening device in flat ground, sinusoidal, and with right triangular shape obstacle conditions were 27,107, 539, and 628 h, respectively. It can be concluded that the agricultural by-product collector is designed safely, considering the annual operating time and service life of the agricultural machinery.
